This 9,000 sqft mansion was custom built in 1991.
it sits on a large lot backing onto a river and forest. not much information could be found regarding the most recent owners, but i could find a demolition permit that was approved in july of 2023.
this home has since been completely demolished.

These people lost this house because of the sheer scale of the build. They obviously built way more than they could afford. Most celebrities do this stuff

I swear, it still amazes me every time I watch a new video. I don’t understand how some people want to demolish such beautiful craftsmanship & unique features to build a house that most likely won’t even be close to comparing.

That was an AMAZING house. If I had been the owner I would have had an extremely difficult time leaving it behind. That was the most incredible residential indoor pool I’ve seen. I noticed right away that the fireplace in that first room was off center and I wonder why they would do that. I just love that whole place and certainly would rather live there than in something new that will be built there. Huge and elegant without being at all gaudy. Must have cost a mint to heat and cool though and the indoor pool I’m sure used more electricity to run than an outdoor pool. They need their own solar farm. Thanks Ethan for sharing this one. So sad that it will be reduced to rubble. It’s great that some things are being salvaged but it’s still an incredible waste of so many resources to destroy it. I really enjoyed watching this. Take care of that cough, and stay safe. No need to climb iffy stairs in garages.

The kitchen cabinet doors could be repurposed for garage storage. I’d use them in my kitchen! But there are many places they can be reused. I’m glad they’re salvaging so much from this home. That’s good stuff!

What you thought was for the pool that was in the basement is a water softener. I would love more information on each house you explore, show the outside (a drone would be nice) and out the windows as you go through each room. Love your videos. Keep up the good work.

This is a very huge house and gouges! This is sad that this family invested all this money to have this mansion built, and then have to leave this place because they could no longer afford to continue tovlive in it! I couldn't imagine having to clean yhis house and spending all this time and then having to leave! How sad 😢😂! Thank you Ethan for show your places. I love your podcast! Ethan by the looks of this home, they spared no expense because that Blue and black marble shower was absolutely gorgeous and it looks like also too they had a designer architect to do this, because that pool room the indoor pool was absolutely stunning in design you know it’s a shame is when you point out the little details as far as the light switch is being not even that boggles my mind, 🥴. but this house was absolutely gorgeous and I am glad and happy to see that they are salvaging as much as they can out of it before it gets tore down. I don’t understand how all these contractors have this kind of money to buy these mansions out like this to build track apartment buildings I don’t understand it. anyways, take care be safe and see you the next time. Thank you for sharing.❤🤠.

I love the wood in the study, the cherry wood floors, and the arch style windows, i think they are called Paladian style. The foyer, the staircase, all incredible!🤩 Such a waste to demolish this beauty! 😐

It is such a shame that these building are left to be taken over by nature and vandals. What a waste of money and resources. These abandoned building should have been put up for sale at reduced prices and moved on to another person. These banks repossess homes and then do not act quickly enough to sell them before vandals come in and destroy much of the value. As a society we are too wasteful.
