I got the eerie feeling in the downstairs that someone was sitting in those chairs, the kitchen felt “occupied” too. It’s so saddening to see all the things that composed someone’s life left behind and frozen in time. Coats hanging in the closet, shoes lined up. I miss my grandparents dearly and I remember what it was like trying to save everything I could because I wanted it all to remain the same but realistically you just can’t save everything.

The feeling I get when you show us these old farmhouses is really indescribable...its eerie, yet so cool & amazing at the same time. It really is like stepping back in time. I was born at the end of 1981, but both grandmas had older homes, & I get this eerie nostalgic feeling watching the explores. Thank you so much for these!! ~Peyton from Charlotte, NC.

What an amazing time capsule! A lot of things like my mom’s stuff from the mid-50s. The stand mixer and dishes! The house itself seems from the 20s. The flooring and kitchen counter.

It's a great day when farm hunter blesses us again! I've also come across fully furnished abandoned farm houses, I always felt like I was being watched, or someone was just about to come home...but the dust inside told me the opposite.

Very simple furniture throughout the house. The most amazing was the 1950's B&W Cabinet TV. There are people who collect them. The refrigerator maybe from the 1980. The newest piece in the house was the electrical box. It could have been that some of the relatives went through the house. Could explain the boxes on the floor. With updated renovations it would be a nice house to live in.

Good to see you back. Another poignant find--- my first guess was gram or gramps passed away and the family started the clean up. Then for whatever reason, just left it as is. The chairs in that room facing the bed make me thing there was a sick person being cared for there possibly.

What an interesting house! It is in such good shape, so little damage from sitting after so many years. Much of the furniture and glassware and such seems to date from the mid-fifties. That heater in the living room was amazing, and that television is a 1954 or '55 RCA Victior, wonder if that was still in use when this house was last occupied. Thanks for sharing this treasure!

Farm Hunter, you are one of the best at doing these videos. Please keep making them. I like how you tour them solo and provide your candid comments. Somehow they are very creepy and instantly draw me in ... the whir of your zoom lens sound adds to the tension. The lighting is usually dramatic and shows the locations well, as well - often sunlit coming through the window from the pastoral setting outside the scary location you are filming. It is both a lonely and apocalyptic feel. That's the best I can do at describing it.

This one really makes me emotional. So much like my Grandmother's home. When I was young and went exploring I'd see stove pipe rings in the ceiling all the time. In fact my Grandma had one too. I have watched hundreds of urban explorer videos and this is the FIRST time I've seen on in a video. Sadly, my Grandma died of a heart attack while sitting at the edge of her bed. It almost looks like the same thing happened here.

Seems as though, like I would do explore an old house to be fascinated and appreciate history of things that once were but no more. Doesn't look like you was making out to be some ghost-hunting expedition. What gets me is things in YT vids you oddly find in certain rooms that you normally wouldn't find even if it was abandoned like a big axe resting on the kitchen counter with the handle up or an ironing board in the bathroom and have old photos of people that either lived there or was relatives so neatly resting on a table like someone is playing cards with them,oh,and all kinds of books and mags. just happens to be cluttered up everywhere in every room. I know people trashes up houses and sometimes uses them for storage houses but to abandon it like that I don't fully buy into it.

How do you get by with entering these places? Do you get permission? Truly interested - dead serious question. If you just trespass and enter, I'm astounded. Around here, that would be asking for trouble. People take a very dim view of such activity.

Yes, I'm aware people look down on my hobby. I do attempt to find the owners via public records, online resources, asking the neighbors, etc. but am not always successful. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints and break nothing but silence is the creed I operate by. Don't know what else to tell you, man.

@@FarmHunter - Man, please don't get me wrong! This sort of thing is right down my alley. Grew up doing it, in fact, but once I did grow up it was harder to get by with it! When you're a kid or a teen, you've kind of got a pass on such stuff. I don't look down on what you do, or disapprove it, myself - I was just curious how you pull it off without getting into trouble. I ain't kidding ya - there are folks around here who would hold you with a shotgun until the deputy came! Best of luck, in any case!
