Today we take a look at an abandoned modern mansion that is said to have been owned by someone in the P*rn industry. All of the history from this place was provided to us by a local in the area. Not many details were given to us but from what we found inside it doesn't seem too far off. The Money they made originally came from a party store business then the adult films came later on. Being that we couldn't find any information online we speculate that the info given to us are RUMORS. Nonetheless this place is a complete time capsule and one of the best modern abandoned mansions we've seen!

I had to reluctantly leave mine behind a couple years ago when my town evacuated from fire (no hotels would take us in with pet crates)...I left them several huge bowls of cat food, and water, left the tub drizzling for more and filled every litter box I could find with litter....after about 5 days I couldn't take it I had to sneak back into my town and take care of them...And the neighborhood strays left with no food or water when everybody that usually cares for them left. No way could I just forget about my baby's. the house wasn't in danger of burning down but other than some smoke damage from an open window our house was fine after a big cleanup....the baby's forgave us.

"Mr. de Villiers did not disguise his own struggles with fidelity; married four times, he was estranged from his wife at the time of his death. He is survived by a son, a daughter and four grandchildren." From what I can gather this was a 2nd or 3rd home of the French author of all the naughty spy books you found. The pencil sketch is a dead ringer. The photo shows what appears to be his 4th wife and 2 kids. He died of cancer in 2013 and the remainder of the family lives in Paris. I don't think the house was seized but actually just abandoned in 2013. I'm speculating tho, but it seems to fit so who knows..

If that is de Villier's house, it's pretty disappointing that no one who has uploaded anything has telegraphed that. Either they're purposely obfuscating to disguise the location or they're just being duped by locals telling them about the party supply magnate cum porn auteur.

During my working life (I am now retired) I used to survey old (especially wooden structured) buildings here in the U.K, and it is my honest opinion that old building are practically a living thing, and as soon as abandoned they start to "die" decay. While occupied the mere opening of doors makes the building breathe, opening a window too, also temperature changes, atmosphere changes etc etc all help to keep the building "alive"! Ever tried to slam a door to a room with no ventilation, it wont slam, that's the air cushioning the door so it follows that the opening and closing of doors even in a "closed " house still moves the air around.

Multi-generational houses are quite common in continental Europe, that's why you end up with several kitchens, dining rooms and multiple living rooms. Looks like a house that's been subjected to a police search with everything out and gone through methodically. Nothing strange about the hidden storage it's common here to provide a little discrete attic space when building another floor into the roof and it also provides a flat wall instead of the slope of the roof.

I am not so sure that cat died from starvation, it might have had access to the outside. Considering there was a box of cat food sitting on the counter in the kitchen seeminly untouched by the cat. Having cats myself i know if they are left alone for a while and have access to the cupboards/pentry they do chew and rip through sealed plastic to access food, even if its not cat food. That paper box of cat food full or empty would have been torn to pieces by a starving cat.

The funeral notice for the wife and no funeral notice for the husband suggest that she predeceased him. Perhaps in his old age, he was unable to keep the place clean and orderly. Clearly it was at one time. When he died, no one lived there to clean up. The mystery is that there were two children based on family photos. So this begs the question why did they not clean it up and sell the property? Tax problems or unpaid debts maybe?

Salut, Just a guess; Gerard de Villiers was a French writer, his speciality was spy novels, pretty sure that is his home, the sketch in the first half of your documentary did appear to be him.... apparently he died on October 31st, Halloween 2013. Word I found; his family were among the last remaining 12 Templar families.... hence the mansion's castle motif and they were most likely of old money.... though, who really knows. I merely followed a hunch and took the name from the books you were examining and matched his face to the rendering. New sub here! ....be safe out there, Cheers!

youre probably right, If you look up his name and look at the photos
@jarmyvicious
@jarmyvicious Жыл бұрын
@@kristagaulin4482 ....that had been my original suspicion.... I did recognize his name on those brand new books, then his similar appearance and not so tall height of 5'6" made him Gerard a near match.... but now, I am only hopeful instead and far less certain; for he was a man of great wealth, pumping out four or five books a year and banking over a million units each, but he was no regular bestselling author either; while boning up abroad on location for each newest book, he served his home ministry well and often, though clandestinely.... he was the spy who wrote spy novellas; one might wonder if Gerard received all his inspiration on the road, particularly the vivid sexual encounters purported to frequent every tale.... or so I have heard. What other favours did he collect on? ....sex and champagne, a neat deposit in a Suisse bank account every once and a minute.... and then, there is that mysterious Templar connection; wealth often tags along with books and the occult, not to mention the likes of a such a well connected lineage, especially one synonymous with high rank, so notorioisly colourful and equally ancient.... devoutly servile to a specific religious, sworn to cause. Does it sound strange that I might consider the just explored property below his measure, and too easy? Gerard would be the owner of a haunted chateau, with farm and vineyard, parking sports cars in his drive, with slips to a true yacht. While this is a very nice home, he might seek something decidedly mature or even grandiose, more opulent by comparison.... Though, I truly hope my first guess pans out as affirmative! Sending cheers and blessings!

Hi, from the USA. I loved the explore. The man must have been into war history since many of the books and videos you showed were of WWII and earlier. As to the nature of the house, it is confusing. Lovely place, but you couldn't salvage it with all the mold even if you tried now. I really enjoyed how you showed the details in furniture and other things. Quite a time capsule. My first impression of the house is that it was built originally as a church or monastery. Think most French are catholics so that may be why there's a statue of the virgin Mary inside and would explain the owner being discreet with the porn collection. I actually love the cover images of the smutty paperbacks and love how Big Bankz refers to them as "naughty" n "raunchy romance novels"! I hope those green, velvety upholstered, antique sofas will eventually be salvaged by someone who appreciates fine furniture. RIP dead kitty. Thank u Big Bankz and Abandoned Nashville for ur heartfelt dedication to bringing us awesome weekly explores cuz they always inspire me to learn more. ✌
