My anxiety was at a level 10 when you were by the rutter of the boat and the waves were coming in lol. That current is NO JOKE! Back in 2009 I got caught in the undertow of a ripcurrent on Singer Island Beach in Riviera Beach FL and am now a quadriplegic because of it... BE CAREFUL BROTHA!

Did some research and found that the ship's name is M/V Transfer and it ran aground in January of 2005. They had made plans to remove it from the reef but Hurricane Emily came in and pushed the vessel further up on the reef so upwards of 2/3 of the ship is now aground making removal almost impossible (Short of cutting the vessel up). The reason for running aground after an investigation was determined to be due to a faulty auto-pilot system and no fines were levied against the owner or crew.

What a great loss for the ship owner or company. Nobody wants to lose a ship in this way. The explorers did not go inside the ship. It is difficult and dangerous to get into such ship. Anyway thanks for showing the ship

Lucky enough to travel to San Pedro Belize so beautiful. Reef that runs along the beach is amazing and fishing was great. Saw a sailboat that was pretty recently beached on the reef. Obviously they said they shouldn’t move it as it would do more damage. They told us the guy must’ve thought it was deeper where the opening was and was wrong. Love this vid since I’ve been close to the location ❤

Well you try going inside of an abandoned ship that’s rusted to the core, probably has tons of mold, is falling apart and could easily kill you if you’re not careful

Hey, Brandon. You're prpbably right about needing permissions etc to be on that abandoned ship. I'm just thinking about the safety aspect as to the stability of the actual deck. Love the spearfishing. Hope you were able to cross off a few fish from your bucket list (most of all the black grouper). The underwater footage is great. Thanks for sharing. I spearfish multiple times per year off the coast of florida. It’s crazy to see how many more fish there are in countries like Belize and the Bahamas than in our waters. It’s like a pond vs the safari

You love to live dangerously trying to get on that ship of rust. Your spear fishing aim is great. Dam deep diving with no air tanks. Some amount of fish that was caught. Next time when out there bring a tin opener to board the ship.

I am 67 come April and many years ago i remember hearing of this ship that was forced by a huge storm to ground and had to be abandoned and left where it landed because it wasn't possible to move it. It looks much older and rusty now, lol

Welcome to my home land man! I just started to watch you , and jake treasure hunting. You should come over to San Ignacio town in the Cayo district. There’s this huge bridge called the hawkesworth bridge , that people lost a lot of valuables. I always thought about the idea if you come , you could do a vlogue there and explore!
