They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What may seem an eyesore to one person, just might be a beautiful masterpiece to another. There are places beloved by communities and protected in the hearts of those that hold their memories of its tattered hallways and decayed rooms dear. This is the way that we feel when we explore places that have been forgotten by time. Left to rot and decay and only holding the silent whispers of what once was. We know that there are people out there with malicious intent toward these places that we venture into. It saddens us when we see the filth and destruction they leave behind, but we want to make something very clear… We are explorers and lovers of history. We in no way, shape or form condone the criminal activities that take place in the historical decaying places that we document. Social media has brought many of these places to the limelight, but the intention is to show the beauty and mystery of abandonment. Not to invite trouble. Trouble will find its way on its own and to say that the peaceful documentation of these places leads to criminal activity, is mind blowing. We have met so many amazing fellow explorers in our travels and are so thankful and humbled by the positive responses we have received. We know that this type of exploration is not for everyone…many people don’t understand why we find such beauty in decay, we can only explain it as a beautiful journey into the past. We invite you to watch our explores and come along as we visit these amazing places. As for the criminal activity that occurs, those individuals are responsible for their own actions. I worked for Cape Cod Railroad in the 90's That first steel car is a self propelled Budd Carr, The 2nd is a Cafe car where we sold snacks, drinks and beer. Nothing was ever cooked in that car. Just like what stores sell for cold sandwiches. 3rd car is a coach. This video brought tears badly. Those have been sitting there since 1997 when we got shut down. There was another coach there but it got burnt down from homeless people. Thank you for the video. lots of memories in those cars.

I used to love taking the train from Worcester to Boston until the day came where I couldn't light up a smoke with my coffee in the dining car. That was my last ride.

That diner car was cool. I'd love to eat on one. Wonder if there's limits to what type of cooking can be done safely on a moving train. I was also waiting for the conductor on the Christmas car to ask for your ticket so he could go mad crazy punching holes in it. And I could almost hear the Mission Impossible music as you tried to get through the train to make your video without getting caught. Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing.

That was a great video...your right..high on the cool meter...I did Medical Management for Norfolk and Southern a good while back...it was during the first phase of getting rid of the Caboose...I felt sad...such a loss...trains are nostalgic...thank you for taking us along!!!

When you went into the engine and commented on the smell, was it diesel fuel? As a commuter for many years, I always wondered what one of the engines looked like inside. Thanks for answering the question! At 14:34, what was the title on the top of the exterior of the car. The last few were pre-Amtrak days - cool stuff!

That kitchen and dining car was the coolest thing ever!!! What a shame though....such good materials gone to total waste...That dining car would make a really cool roadside diner!

I love the purple color on the trains, the red/blue seats. I have never been in a dining car or saw what it looks like. Very cool kitchen. Thank you for sharing this great adventure. Hope Jennifer is well, and she was missed. Have a good week ahead.

I have always been fascinated by trains and I am glad I found this video. I love the surprise at the end. I wonder who was seating in that train once, trains can be very nostalgic! I felt bad, you probably didn't have to crawl around on the floor THAT long. LOL. I think you would have been safe. I figured the windows were reflective enough to block you from the workers, so I stood up for the 1,000 selfies I took. But I too did the military crawl back to the exit. A diner on a train truly IS a cool sight to see! You found the fake nickle! So we can pretend that was a little green ball replacement. Haha.

That was so cool! Why are the train cars just left there? I have to admit, you crawling through had me laughing. The Christmas decorations were so random. There is a great train museum near here in Delson, went with my son a few times when he was little, he always wanted to go back, you could walk through and touch everything, it was like being back in time, the earliest trains to more modern, great with a kid climbing in and out walking inside, had so much fun. Hope Jennifer is ok, sorry you had to go alone, but at least you had us. Nothing sucks more than seeing something really cool and having no one with you to say look! Look at this! If you google Delson train museum and look at the photos you get an idea of how big it is and you can easily spend a day there, there are trains inside and outside.

The EMD F40PH is a cowl-bodied, 3,000hp to 3,200hp four-axle diesel locomotive which was originally built by Electro-Motive Division between 1975 to 1992, and was eventually mimicked by M-K Rail amd MPI in the 1990's and early 2000's.

The older cars are probably 1970s I remember as a Kid in the 70s I road older trains that had Wood framed windows on the old Penn Jersey line before a engineer had a heart attack and ran the train into a river when a bridge was open :( that line was closed since. CAPE COD CENTRAL RAILROAD Is still in business not sure why they abandoned all that equipment? Those engines are worth a.lot of money! They look like General Electrical engines! trains are really cool I rode several Amtraks across the country it's the best way to see the states meet people and relax! Planes suk to fast you don't see anything!

You learn new things esp. reading the message on the toilet seat and found treasurers, a Christmas tree and .....wait 4 it...TOILET PAPER !!! Shhhhh...Don't tell the TP horders. My parents brought us on an old train something like that but they had where you could get sleeping cars, and your seat could be made to be a bed. They woke us about 3 am and put us & other folks in another sleeper car. We found out latter there had been a fire in the long car we & other folks were in !😨 In the early 1970's my mom & I went across country by train to California and it was a blast ! This little old lady 😎always snock up on the observation car., she looked just like the lady in the movie, 'The Birds', when they're in the restaurant and she gets a pack of cigs from the cig machine and talks about the birds. The car was really big with big windows and you could see for miles. We took a ride in a limo, in Hollywood one of those see the stars homes thing. Some stuck up woman said; "You just missed seeing such & such." My mother said; "No. She just missed seeing me." And she smiled😁 I'll never forget that. My mom was really pretty with a beautiful singing voice. I had my guitar when we visited the Hollywood Bowl, we sang accoupple of songs & it would make her smile for years thinking back on those times and she could say she 'sang' at the Hollywood Bowl. Course it was empty & during the day time, but a nice memory is a nice memory It's like when you two go filming and we're lucky enough to get to go on adventures with you. Well...you're making happy memorys too.Think about that. 💖 👍 👻🤘.
