I moved to Arizona in 1997 from California bay area. I love it here in the desert, quiet peaceful and calm. I've been to a ton of abandoned places out in the middle of nowhere in Arizona and things really stay well preserved in the very dry climate. I've found very old shell casings and old shotgun shells where the only thing left is the metallic parts like the brass casing and primer. Even found a very old revolver once, not much left and would never work again but very cool. Stay safe out there and keep exploring. Well done on your videos.

We have a jail kind of like this in Stockton, Utah. It’s built 1901, and is partially in a mountainside. This was the first town in Utah to have electricity and it’s also a mining town. Montana has tons of well-preserved ghost towns as well. Bannack, Garnet, Coolidge, Etc.

This miner's grave actually is for two soldiers who were likely the first prospectors in Chloride. They were sent from Fort Mohave to explore the area. In Arizona, many of the early miners were buried as Unknowns (without names) because they came alone without a history. Chloride has a gunfighter's group that performs skits regularly in this recreated part of town, and they talk about the early history of Chloride in-between their skits. The blue house is a museum.
