Exploring Bellingham, Washington!

On April 1, 2022, the Canada-US border finally opened. We took the opportunity explore our neighbouring American cities. Bellingham and Blaine are both super quaint and filled with scenic parks and walks. We even had a chance to check out Trader Joe's which is something that Sam was always curious about. We are looking forward to many more Washington adventures in the near future!

It's funny to hear you say that when you lived in White Rock you would longing look across the bay and wish your could be in Blaine. We live in Blaine and we'd have picnics at Marine Park and look longing at White Rock, wishing we could go there. I am envious that it is easier for Canadians to cross the border than it is for US citizens to get to Canada. I miss the days when it was so easy.......one day perhaps it will get easier. Great video! I enjoyed it a lot. Breat editing of your video too! I love seeing Canadians go crazy shopping at Trader Joe's too! So many B.C. license plates in the parking lot. Yeah, lots of Canadians at Costco. I hope you bought gas too!

I’ve lived in Bellingham my whole life, you’ll find some absolutely gorgeous views, and some absolutely horrid ones (downtown) it’s hard to love a lot of the time but it’s home

Blaine, such a cute place. They just had a lockdown sadly, because of active shooters. However, it is a beautiful area

For sure, I have to agree with you! We hope to be able to try out more restaurants in the area and see some cool sights. That's rough, hopefully things get better in that regards.

Bellingheaven if you can afford to live here, or your income is low enough for scarce low income housing. Expect a 5 year + wait. This happened to me.

Did the us border ask for the vaccine passport when you crossed?

There weren't any restrictions going into the United States, but coming into Canada you need to have the arrivecan app downloaded and set up. That requires your vaccine passport

For anybody watching this, please don't move here. Our population has doubled since 1980. Only wealthy people can afford to live here. People that are already here have trouble paying their rent. You will not be welcome her so please go elsewhere.
