Bristol in 24 hours. How much can you possibly do? I recently took a trip to Bristol, a city in England, which I had only paid attention during the protests in 2020 and the Colston statue that was brought down. I would later on learn that there is so much more to Bristol than its history and participation in the Transatlantic Slave Trade hundreds of year ago. It is home town to the anonymous street artist Bansky, houses engineering wonders such as the Clifton Bridge, and Brunel's SS Great Britain, the largest passenger ship in the world from 1845 to 1853 and now a museum ship, and then, Bristol Cathedral
It also has an unbelievable giant cave where you walk into the rocks to come out on the other end of the rock, which stands 100s of feet from the bottom of the rock.
Bristol is a sweet city to visit as its people are very warm and welcoming. The food was amazing but the weather quite similar to London, lol, as it is just about 2hrs30mins drive from England's capital city. Come with as I explored this beautiful city of Bristol.

When you were looking for the last Banksy, you were stood outside the hatchet inn who's most famous customer was Edward Teach aka Blackbeard the Pirate who is also a Bristolian, legend has it the door of the Hatchet Inn is covered with human skin..... P.s my favourite Banksy in Bristol is the Mild,Mild West in Stokes Croft just a little bit up the road from where you had your Breakfast.

That hatchet inn story is interestingly darkkk. I never saw the Mild, Mild West one. I wish i had more time in Bristol, but the short stay was a strong 8/10. The people are genuinely lovely.

Sorry, I had for experience it for myself, which I did and then acknowledged 😂 I just thought if it was so dangerous, it wouldn’t be open to just anyone to go in. But yes Bristol amazing. You should check out the cave

Those that pulled down Colston statue, the majority were not Bristolians, 90% didn't know the full history of Colston, the animal behavior was privilant. Those that did the deed , the police & local council should be ashamed of their actions, inactions (police). History is a reminder of what was good & bad about the past, it's should be seen as lessons to learned for the present & future. To think, these fools pulled down a statue that had help build bristol, whilst living in a time of global slavery, whilst at the same time praising, honoring a well known criminal (Floyd). Note to those whom agreed with the vandalism of Closton statue: be careful of your action, what you wish for, your future depends on it.
