Exploring Burgundy (Dijon & Beaune)

Join us on our trip to France where we leave the French Alps behind and head to the wine capital of Bourgogne!
In Episode 21 of our Eurotrip 2020 series, we head out to the cities of Dijon and Beaune in the Burgundy region of France.
We spend the day walking around the city of Dijon, taking in the major highlights including some local red wine and escargot. As well as some local Dijon mustard of course!
We finish our time here with a day trip to the neighbouring city of Beaune to visit the beautiful and famous Hospices de Beaune (or Hotel-Dieu de Beaune). This museum is a former charitable hospital for the poor, founded in 1443. We also visit a local winery as Beaune is known for the multitude of wineries in and around the town.

Ever since I watched the lore video’s of HOI4 TNO mod, the word ‘Burgundy’ has become something entirely different to me.😣 Glad I see something ACTUAL Burgundian.

Love France, in particular the Loire Valley region. I used to work in the Loire Valley and would love to go back and visit again sometime soon.

We loved our time in France as well! What did you do for work in the Loire Valley?

@@LukeandTylerTravel I was working for a company called Keycamp Holidays, think its not owned by Eurocamp. They have a load of campsites around France, Spain, Italy and so on. I was a courier the first time I went and senior courier second time. Hard work but had some great times.
