We are still exploring Byrsa Hill at the archeological site of Carthage in Tunis, Tunisia. Byrsa Hill was the central feature of the Punic settlement. During the Roman Era, Byrsa Hill was the starting point of the two main axes of Roman Carthage: the Decumanus, running from east to west, and the Cardo, from north to south. Gerak Darma's team is currently exploring Cardo Maximus. The Cardo Maximus, or Cardo, was the main north-south road in a Roman town or fort. This particular one was in Roman Carthage. We are deep in history here.
