Today we discover the cute village of Cahuita Costa Rica, a short 15km's from Puerto Viejo. We take a couple of days to get to know the town, on day one we cycle there to get a first impression of the town and day 2 we spend the day exploring the amazing Nature park!
The small village of Cahuita packs a big punch given its small size, it is the gateway to a stunning nature park that meets a stunning white sandy coastline. The town is authentic and has some amazing beach side bars or local soda's if you want to eat.
While exploring Cahuita's Nature Park we caught a glimpse of some of Costa Rica's most majestic animals, critters and fauna. You can even snorkel off shore near the park on what is Costa Rica's largest stretch of Coral reef providing you have a guide.
We absolutely loved Cahuita and can't wait to head back! Enjoy our latest Costa Rica Travel Vlog!

Thank for your video. We were there in 2017 and stayed just down the lane from that Reggae bar. It's always rejuvenating to have those memories refreshed from a different perspective than your own photos. I've travelled a lot of places and the park in Cahuita is a stand out for a beautiful walk combined with exotic nature around ever dang corner.

Did the tour bus drop off a lot off a large amount of people around the 2:30 mark, or did you have the place pretty much to yourselves? Cahuita looks like a great place to let the kids run wild! 😜

That tour bus was trying to turn that corner for about 20 minutes haha I was about to go and give him a hand myself! But in answer to your question, we didn't see a ton of people get off, it was busy enough that there was a nice atmosphere but definitely not overcrowded! :)

Such a lovely bike ride, I love the natural views and the sea views were gorgeous. The reggae bar looks so cool and chill too, I would stop at the same place. Is it possible to do all the nature trails in 1 day would you think? I am so glad you saw the sloth, amazing luck.

My boyfriend and I are looking to move to Costa Rica and you’re videos have really helped us learn about the East coast! If you were going to choose an area to stay, where would you? We’re from London so looking for a more remote quiet beach town with unpopulated beautiful beaches, the polar opposite basically 😂 any suggestions would be appreciated!

Great video, going to Costa Rica in August . I would like to ask if what gadget you use for your videos , thanks
@Hungry_Voyager
@Hungry_Voyager Жыл бұрын
We use a GoPro for most of our videos, we switched to a Canon M50 when in London bur reverted back to a new GoPro model after that. For us is much more manageable to use a GoPro instead of bulkier cameras, for the older GoPro we used a mic, for the newer ones the build in mic does just fine. Hope this helps :)
