In today's video I explore two separate movie ranch locations starting off with the abandoned home of Charlie Chaplin as well as Spahn Ranch!
The Los Angeles home that was originally owned by Charlie Chaplin was later owned by two cattle ranchers until 1944. The 160 acre property was then purchased by Jack Ingram. He would go on to use the property as a movie ranch until 1956 when it was then purchased by 4 Star Productions where it would continue to be the filming site of Westerns throughout the 1960s.
Spahn Ranch, located in Chatsworth (Los Angeles), was used once a dairy farm and later used as a movie ranch and was owned by George Spahn. In 1967 - 1969 Spahn Ranch was occupied by Charles Manson and the Manson family.
