Stephen, please do stay in Meghauli instead of at Sauraha, the next time. Sauraha is far too crowded and commercialised as compared to Meghauli. If you're on a budget, I would recommend staying at Sarang Wildlife Sanctuary. The high- end resorts are Meghauli Serai by Taj and Barahi and a few other new ones that are cropping up. Besides Sauraha and Meghauli, you could also try Jagatpur Lodge in Jagatpur (situated between Sauraha and Meghauli) with amazing hospitality and African tent accommodation.
