I visited Communa 13, infamous for having an extremely dangerous past but a community that has worked together to achieve great things to the point where it is now a tourism hotspot and known to be very safe when with a tour guide.

I love love this episode so much. It is such amazing moment to meet the locals the kids the teenagers and others and learn from that Gentleman about the area. The views are so beautiful too. I love the colors the markets and the views are amazing. I feel sad for some of the kids I hope education is becoming a priority in Colombia. I love the Rap music and the vibes too. Just love love it. Love the swing at the end lol the girl was making funny sounds hahahaha. That was so much fun hahahaha I felt I was like swinging too.

These neighbourhoods are not called Favelas in Colombia. It’s a ‘Comuna’. Favelas are in Brazil.

Harry your videos are just going from strength to strength! Super interesting to see that area of the Medellin and how it’s changed so much in recent time. On a quick side note, there are also outdoor escalators in the Mid Levels in Hong Kong, it’s also super steep and hilly there!!

Nice video ! I love you got to visit comuna 13 it is the best example of change and evolving ! I love those adorable moments when you called the kids " señor" (mister or sir) hahaha by the way if you are interested in going out at night you could visit Lleras park and the 70 it would be nice to see the night life :)

Looks like you had a good time in Medellin Harry 😎. I've been here in the metro area for 24 years but after having visited India 🇮🇳 for 48 days in 2019, I'm dying to get back there and just travel around for 6 months at a time and leave for the 2 months required before entering again. Wanna do that till further notice. How did you feel India Harry?

Even Favelas there are so clean, and the Cafe in Favela seemed hygienic and neat, not sure if that was the case all over. A lot of places in the world can learn from them. I really hope that other Columbian people and the govt. Pitch in and provide proper education for these polite kids. There is high potential for Columbia to be a top notch country. The tour guide/friend was stellar, very easy to understand. Not sure if he was a paid guide, but he should be promoted for travelers to hire him. Thus, providing him with better economic stability and progress.
