Exploring Cornwall - Revisiting Botallack Mine!

Amazing drone footage chaps It is a truly magical place Botallack, highly recommend a visit, plus 'The Queens Arms' pub is an added bonus for a decent Cornish cider!😉

Absolutely stunning, I've always wanted to go there but never got the chance and now I am unable 😢. Cornwall is one place I will never move from, I've been here 25 years almost and it still takes my breath away. Thank you for this video as now I know what is really there rather than look at some photo's, a beautiful video and drone shots. xx 💖🙏

Cheers Sue, its for sure a place I'd suggest to people to visit if they get the chance. It always reminds me of a movie set!

@@TrippingCornwall Me either, I haven't watched any television for around 12 years, it is full of crap and misinformation. I've heard of Poldark though and I know they have filmed their series in Cornwall.

@@SueGirling68 Lol! Pretty much why I stopped watching! Same old crap, too many adverts and I don't like most of the people on it haha I pretty much stick to youtube where I can choose what to watch and when, and a bit of netflix when I'm really bored :P

Awesome video. The Botallack Mines are one of the “Portals” on my nature sounds app, and I wanted to get a sense of the place and what it looks like to explore it. I live across the world and on a limited income, so likely won’t be able to go. But this video helped me imagine being there. Lovely. I also love the cheeky banter and Zombie jokes.

Amazing video, there is some top aerial photogrpahy there. I have walked along there many times when i lived in Cornwall and it must be very challenging flying conditions with the wind there.

The first cave system new went into mate is called the bunnies nice that you managed to fly your drone there I did try but there is a flight restriction zone

Apparently its one of the earliest tin mines in Cornwall? I never knew that until last night when my dad told me lol

Brilliant footage from the drone. I don't think you need to have WiFi signal for the drone. I have mavic air 2 and don't need to.

You're right about the wifi/signal for the drone, but I needed to request access to fly in that area which is through a code sent by text. So I needed to get signal to allow the text to come through lol

@@torotaxi1 Hey dude, Nah no email address. I had to walk pretty far away to get signal and requested access that way.

It's been a long time since I was there, I think you have to request access through the DJI app before you can fly
