Emilia and I explore Koh Lanta but without any tourists, the beaches, towns and roads seem very empty, especially from tourists, we visit one of the best beaches in Thailand that we have been to as of yet!

Very enjoyable video… Fun spending the day with you guys exploring that beautiful island and great beaches… What’s the temperature like? It seems quite warm…How is the cel service?

I stayed in koh lanta several times, definitly a place to visit, in my opinion best time to visit is March / april , tempature is ok to be honnest around 30 to 35 degres celsus and not much rain , never had any issue with internet reception as far as i remember and you ll get free wifi in every bar / restaurant. If you go there i would recommand staying in Kantiang Bay, visit the old town and the national park with the lighthouse, have also a snorkling experience around, you ll find great snorkling trip package with pickup point in every villages. Finally i would recommand a thai cooking class experience while you re in there ( time for lime is really cool ) ... Things to take in consideration if you decide to book an hotel down the south of the island ... while it is fun to stay in the jungle, moskitos are an issue, make sure you buy a proper moskito repellient !!! also may be from my personnal experience but the road on the south of the island are not the best ... make sure you re confident and experienced enough before driving a scooter down to the national park as those roads can be tricky !!! Enjoy your stay !!!

Koh Lanta is one of my favorite place in Thailand, not so much tourists, and actually as most of the tourist appear to book their hotel in the north of the island, if you go further down the south around Kantiang bay, you ll get access to insane scenary, without much tourists, i would def recommand to spend few hours down the national park also !!! on the scooter note, if you are not experienced and confident drivers do not take the risk to drive down the national park as roads are dangerous !!!

The bargaining was not cool. You could afford the extra £1 which would make a massive difference for that lady

Bargaining is part of Asian culture, I hardly bargained and they inflate their prices with the presumption that everyone bargains, in order to keep travelling we have to travel cheap. We actually saw the same trousers here in Chiang Mai for only 100 Baht. :)

There are so many mosquitoes here to be honest it’s quite annoying we wear bug spray every evening to prevent getting bitten

As someone who watches lots of travel vlogs, I would like to just give you a small bit of friendly advice. Please try to improve your camera work. Jerking and spinning around so fast just makes the experience not so great tbh. Smooth and slow is the way to go, I'm sure others will agree.
