Riyadh, the capital of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a city that offers everything from modern architecture to keeping the culture and history alive. In this episode of In Your Neighbourhood, we began exploring the city by soaking ourselves in the history of Riyadh and by starting at Diriyah which is the original home of the Saudi royal family and the first capital of the First Saudi State.
And we had Dariya Sots, an expat who has been living in Riyadh for the past seven years now to take us on this journey. From checking out the Salwa Palace to gorging on the traditional Lamb Kabsa at one of the famous restaurants in Bujairi Terrace in Diriyah.
