Exploring Downtown Winter Garden! | Foodie Paradise, FL's Oldest Working Elevator & Train Museum!

In today’s vlog we head to downtown Winter Garden to do some exploring! We start with a look at some of the shops on the Main Street where we also see the Garden Theater, which looks awesome! Hopefully we can check out some of the interactive shows and plays soon! Then we head over to Plant Street Market which is a few blocks away where we have lunch. There were several food and drink stalls as well as a brewery. We had way too much food but it was all so so amazing! We’ll be back for sure to try more! Then we head out to the Central Florida Railroad Museum, which is a free attraction with lots of railroad and train artifacts and information. We even got mini interactive tour. Then we took a look at the Egdewater Hotel where Florida's oldest working elevator is located! We even got to take a ride in the elevator, it was awesome!! We had a really great time in Winter Garden and we can not wait to get back for another trip! We hope you had fun exploring with us! Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

I love that you guys not only showcased the town so well but bought from a variety of restaurants located in the market. Restaurants are all having a tough time rn and I feel like you guys are so kind to show as many smaller restaurants and shops as you can.

You have to visit again at Xmas time. Its like being in a Hallmark movie. There is even a decorated golf cart parade.

@Jamie Byford The church, barber shop and some sidewalks were used in The Right Stuff series that was on Disney+. I even think they blew some snow around in a few scenes.

Grew up in Winter Garden. Wonderful little town. It was really revitalized in the early 2000s when they ran the West Orange Trail through the middle of downtown and repaved the roads. Then had a lot of the newer buildings, splash pad, farmer’s market, etc built in the last 10 years. My grandmother worked at the Winter Garden theater as a teenager during its initial run. One of the great restaurants there from the early 2000s was the Winter Garden Pizza Company, though it’s changed ownership several times since back then. So glad you got to show off my hometown!

Winter Garden is totally my kind of Florida vibe. My grandparents lived there, just off of Dillard near the lake. I love it there. Brings back childhood memories.

My daughter (who lives in Orlando) goes to the farmers market all the time, it's always jam packed. The city did a great job of revitalizing the downtown area. It's been like that for awhile now, but it used to be really worn down and showing its age. It's just beautiful now.

Any city or town that plays Barry White automatically goes on my must visit list. I grew up on his music because my dad loves him and, when I heard Never Never Gonna Give You Up coming from the speaker by the butterfly garden, I instantly became happy.

Winter Garden is yet another hidden gem in central Florida! We went there over a year ago and we really enjoyed the railroad museum, the heritage center and the caboose and also looking around in the shops.

Winter Garden is always on my list when I visit Florida. I cannot believe how much it has changed in just a few years. I love the farmer's market. It is huge!

My husband and I live just outside Edinburgh, Scotland and we were literally saying the other day about how Orlando (maybe most of Florida I don’t know!) is not a walking around sort of place! You have to drive and can’t just explore from one place to another! Where I am it’s just lots of little town that are so cute! And then bam! You do this video and it’s a little town!! I had mentioned about visiting this area the last trip we had but never got around to it! Definitely next time we are over. Thanks for showing us more and more up to date content!

I grew up in the Winter Garden downtown area and still live here. I so miss all of our Orange Groves. We are an old southern town that a lot of people love because of our southern hospitality.

Omgzzzz. I live for the brisket at This Little Piggy! Their cheesy grits and baked beans are also amazing! All the food at Plant Street is good. Definitely try the pizza there too!

I LOVE that you visited Downtown Historic Winter Garden! I live 20 minutes from there and we just love it there! Great shops, food & music, and festivals. The weekend farmer’s market is spectacular! Between Winter Garden and Mt. Dora nonDisney days are easy! Please go back again!

You taste olive oils best by taking a sip where you slurp while taking in air at same time, but most people taste by dipping bread (although you won’t get true flavor that way). The more you cough when you slurp, the bolder it is.

There is an awesome little boat ride on the lake too that explains about all the different house styles and how the rich northerners would come to Florida in the winter to escape the snow. Such a great little town

Would LOVE for you to visit the Morse museum in downtown Orlando. They have all the really cool signs (including neon) from businesses that have closed over the years. Most recently, Merita bread (although I think they are still refurbishing it) and the famous Ronnie's sign!

The Trackers in Winter Garden. 🥰🥰🥰 EDIT: the West Orange bike trail goes straight through downtown winter garden. Lots of biking and walking trails. You should rent some bikes and take Jackson! You can drive through Oakland, it’s pretty there, too! MORE EDITS: during Halloween they do projections on the city hall building and it was amazing lol. They decorate downtown beautifully for the holidays, too. I’m just really excited that they’re in my town 😂

I love these types of videos! Of course I adore Disney but as a 7th generation Floridian it’s so nice to see y’all showcase some of the small local towns and history of my state :) My fiancé and I met you guys at Hollywood Studios ( I was the weird girl that asked Jenn if she liked my makeup). I’m a nurse that’s been working in COVID wards so it’s been important to me this last year to try and find COVID safe things to do in the area. My fiancé and I made a goal to really explore all these small towns and Orlando properly since I felt it would be a safe thing to do. We’ve done downtown Kissimmee, Winterpark , Wintergarden, Mt. Dora, we did the lake Apopka wildlife drive, which is AMAZING, and we’ve also been exploring all the local town parks, like Kraft Azalea and Meade (that’s something else y’all could do that’s fun).

Winter garden resident here and this is almost every day! It’s very beautiful. There is a paved bike/walking trail running right through the middle which is why there are so many bikers.

WOW!!!!! What a great place and brilliant video. I think one of your best. You showed so many wonderful things to do and places to eat in only half an hour. The food all looked delicious, made me salivate with hunger. The train museum was so interesting and set out brilliantly. My favourite was the hotel. I really need to stay there. It was beautiful and quaint. To experience a hotel from the 1920's would be amazing. I am so incredibly jealous that you guys are so close to Winter Garden. If I ever get to your part of the world I am heading there for sure. Looking forward to your next trip there all ready. Keep up the great work Tracker clan. We hung out in Winter Garden today! It is so charming! We ate at the Whole Enchilada and it was delicious. Hung out exactly where you were by the fountain. Can't wait to go back and try the Market!
