Getting those train stations mixed up is such a classic mistake when you're not used to Glasgow! I remember doing it so much when I first moved here.

Thank you for another lovely video Shawna! I used to comment when I watched you from Thailand. I lived there for three years but sometimes felt homesick for Edinburgh and your beautiful videos helped me to escape and feel at home for a while. ❤️ I will be moving to Glasgow soon and was feeling apprehensive because I love Edinburgh, but your video has made me remember how beautiful the South of Glasgow is. Thank you for your feel good videos. 😊

Hahaha the Shawna Vault sounds a lot better than me just being lazy and putting off editing it for a year 😂 I actually have one last video in the “vault” which is nearly 2 years old that I’m determined to post soon! 😅 thank you so much for your kind comment and I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Pollok house and the water mill buildings are being restored just now ,still a beautiful setting just on my doorstep, I usually cycle around the park once or twice a week

love the Burrell collection. It’s been closed for renovation for a few years but hope to see it when we come up later this year, thanks for the memories. Keep safe C.

Hi! 👋 I was there on Sunday so it is open! 🙂 It was my first time and so very interesting. I only had time to be there for a couple of hours and felt like I didn't scratch the surface so definitely make a full day of it.

@@burntsoup Thanks. If you get the chance do visit again. To me it’s one of the finest collections, every piece is a gem in its own right. Never visit Glasgow without doing the Burrell and Kelvingrove they are like old friends you love to see.

Pollok park was gifted to the city by the Maxwells,the Burrell collection was gifted by sir William Burrell to the city also

Hello Wilma! No, unfortunately not but the Burrell Collection does have a cafe and restaurant (we were just a bit too late in visiting and it had closed for the day 🙈).
