As someone na mahilig sa History, ito talaga gusto kong mapuntahan sa Japan 🙏🏻 I love how they preserve their history.

This is probably one of my favorite episodes. I love how you reiterated the importance of learning about their history. Having been to the Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, I really want to see Hiroshima as well para makita both sides. Japan really learned a lot from the war and although they have done atrocious things in the past, I think they are continuously making themselves better as atonement for the older generation's sins.

Japan is so progressive because of discipline.....the best country to visit.

One of my Japan to-do lists as an Architect is ma visit ang Hiroshima for it's history and witness the works of the great Architect Kenzo Tange on how he reconstructed Hiroshima after WWII. Thank you sir JM ❤️

Lahat sila mababait naman) sabi lang ng locals doon ung mga Deers sa miyajima ay alaga daw ng Gods doon sa island yun …masarap din mag foodtrip doon at cheaper ung price plus parang they have the best okonomiyaki na natikman namin and of course The Grand Torii Gate 🫶🫶🫶

Jm ikaw na tlga. I am so happu you went to hiroshima. Madami pa magnda puntahan sa area nanyan like Yamaguchi, Takehara, and Ehime. West Japan in general is underrated.

I visited Miyajima and Hiroshima in 1 day before. Will try staying longer next time. Nagpunta ako on a Sunday at nakakaiyak makita yung Peace Park na punong puno ng happy families. Di mo akalain na may atomic bombing na nangyari before. The best okonomiyaki I've eaten in my life was also below the Hiroshima JR station. Di ko nakalimutan yung sarap until today. 😭

While we felt sorry for what happened in hiroshima (innocent people deaths), i hope you also acknowledge that during that time, Philippines is also under Japanese occupation which cause death and suffering of thousands of filipinos (ex. bataan death march). The bombing made japanese surrender the war which is a big factor to Philippine independence from them as well.

What happened to Hiroshima is sad. But what really sad is the current situation where Israel and US dropped 1800 tons of bombs on Gaza, 1.5 times more than bomb dropped on Hiroshima. Just imagine that. And as of this very moment they still keep bombing the city. I just hope Palestine would recover like Japan one day.
