Join us as we visit Cornell Manor, a historic gem in Northampton Township, Bucks County, PA. Under the dedicated care of proprietor Linda Manzo, the manor is being beautifully restored to its former glory.
Cornell Manor's rich history dates back to the Cornell family, who originally owned the estate. In 1848, renowned Quaker artist Edward Hicks was commissioned to paint the Cornell farm, a masterpiece now housed in The National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.
When Theodore Cornell, the youngest son, inherited the farm, he tore down the original homestead in 1885 and constructed what is now known as Cornell Manor. Today, this stunning home is part of the Bucks County Historic Conservancy, preserving its legacy for future generations.

God bless you Linda! I raised my family in an 1838 brick home as well. When we were selling it years ago the first person interested wanted to remove a wall too. We are only caretakers of the properties to maintain our heritage. The wallpaper I put into the house in 1990 is still there! Makes my heart warm but my wish would be to repurchase the house and wrap it bubble wrap and keep it forever preserved! 🤣🤣🤣

Absolutely beautiful! I had the honor and privilege to live in a gorgeous Victorian home in upstate NY. We sold it when we moved and the next owners destroyed it. I was so heartbroken. Years later it went up for auction and was purchased. The new owner is painstakingly restoring it. My heart is so happy. We had so many wonderful memories in that home with our five children! Victorians will always have a special place in my heart. Linda, your paintings are incredible! Thanks for sharing this gorgeous home!

Linda looks damn good for 83! Amazing family history with this house. I would love to see pictures of their first time living in the house then the condition in which she found it when she bought it back.

I went to school with the kids and always loved the house. Even as a little kid. The development was called windmill village back then. I remember the entrance to the development having a Dutch boy and girl on others of a windmill. Mrs. Manzo you home is beautiful! Thank you.
