We visited the closest waterfalls to Franklin, TN. This was our first time exploring the falls. The trip is about an hour and half from Nashville by car. The falls are located off the Natchez Trace Parkway, a National Park that stretches from Nashville to Natchez, Mississippi. We would say these are a fairly easy to go visit and play in. The boys loved it and we can't wait to go back on a day after it rains.
We had quite a few learning experiences along the way. We love homeschooling because it gives us the flexibility to learn hands-on.
