Today were exploring A LUXURIOUS £8 Million Mansion that was rumoured to be linked to a Hollywood megastar Johnny Depp and former England football captain John Terry!! The 22,000 sq mansion, which is set in 11 acres of beautiful english countryside began construction in 2004 but was never fully completed or occupied. It was only ever lived in when squatters took over temporarily in 2012. It was built as a substantial, exclusive residence complete with a host of features including a 34-seat cinema, 15-berth nuclear shelter, secret underground escape tunnel, underground aquarium, man-made lake, 50ft master bedroom and underground garage big enough for 10 cars!! It also had 12 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, seven kitchens and two-bedroom staff apartment. Unfortunately as we were leaving the boys In blue turned up as the alarm we set off was linked directly to the local police station! 😅 luckily we always stay legal so we were let go. But a word If warning guys please don’t visit this place now! It’s been completely sealed up by the owner! Hope you enjoy this weeks video guys 🙂

I live just a stones throw from this, I pass it every day and always admire the big eagles on the entrance gates! Rumours are correct, Johnny Depp supposedly owned it and talk of our small town was the underground garage! It’s a shame to see it just left to decay!

This place never belonged to Johnny Depp, it was mearly linked to him as he had a passing interest in it , as did England football captain John Terry. It went on market for £7.5m in 2009. It failed to find a forever owner so the developers of the property A and B Homes submitted plans to turn it into 13 flats 2018. Due to Covid, after the plans were granted time has lapsed so had to be resubmitted.

It's owned by A&B Homes Ltd and is in Hampshire. There is a current planning application by the company directors (who are Spanish) to convert it into eleven flats.

Those holes are for lighting one light in each hole lights both levels. I believe at least some of the basement area is built as a bunker with a priest hole emerg exit. As for the shoddy concrete work it's not bad everything except the exposed concrete is good. The exposed concrete has weathered so bad just like the deck because none of it was finished and sealed. Then left exposed to the elements for almost 20 years. P.S. the roof is off of a Mercedes Benz.

Not one of Johnny Depp's places. That is pure clickbait. In 2009 when the house was up for sale, a local person thought they saw Depp in the back of a car nearby. They told the press and the story got blown up from there. It might not have even been him - if it was, he went to take a look and then decided not to buy so it's not much of a story really.

What a cool design. It really is such a waste to have it left to deteriorate after they put so much work into the initial design and build so far. Plenty of people need a place to live these days, can’t they revive it and turn it into a farmstead or artists retreat or something? It looks like a great little plot of land as well. Them hole could be for lighting…. But could also be for heating/ventilation, as the room is full glass, if you don’t vent/pump heating on to the glass you will get bad condensation on the windows and they’ll be pointless as you won’t see out of them. Haha, so most pools with glass around them have ducting by the windows for heating etc to keep the glass clear of condensation.

Yes the good police are exemplary bit you do get a few that are not so polite and that's because they are recruiting a few bruisers in the last ten years. It was Keepers of the Police but regurgitated into Law Enforcement. They are recruiting buzz cut, tattooed, dense people who get on oxioud because they feel insecure with their lack of knowledge of the law (not legislation as that isn't law). A great video, and wonderful to see not far from the Market town of Romsey; which of course has had many a notable visitor, including the King and the late Queen. The king and his wife the late Princess Diana, spent their honeymoon in Romsey; Broadland. The market town has a lot of celebrities living there, and in the surrounding villages. Thank you for showing me this find. As an Ambassador for Hampshire, you have shown me a treasure within the Test Valley.

It just irritates me that places like this are left to rot. Quite frankly, because some of the materials in them are worth their weight in gold. Those front doors, I would take them and put them on my place. Same thing with a lot of the windows and such that are there. What I would love to do is get the government there to give me that place. Fix up a section of the house that could be livable right away and then work on the rest of the place overtime. It is made like a fortress, so it’s never going to fall down. Just crazy that that place is sitting abandoned.

There’s a lot more empty homes than there are homeless people in the UK. Close to 300k empty properties and about 220k homeless people. It’s a lot more complex an issue than just giving empty homes away

Seems about right the Police response. I had a boozer and a fight between a dozen fella's kicked off, the barmaid called the Police, 4 officers arrived two hours later, long after I had kicked out the trouble. Another night two girls had a little slapping session, barmaid called the Police again and would you believe that 12 cops came charging in mob handed 5 minutes later. I think they do a risk assessment, decided 12 lads fighting was a little to much for them, but the two girls, yeah they could handle that! Empty house nothing to steal, lets go boys.

I don't understand how you are legal when you entered someone else's property illegally without permission from the owner or property manager. Anywhere in the EU, they would receive at least a fine for illegal entry to property, and for illegal entry into someone's house, they would be held accountable in court.

I suspect those small rooms by the pool were for changing, bathing, saunas, steam rooms etc. everything is on an epic scale here. They are too small to be bedrooms. Great visit. Thanks.

It was bought by developers. To be turned into flats and apartments. The planning was set. Then covid hit. Planning permission was resceduled. The ground floor was a bunker with bedrooms living areas. Wish these people would read up on what they are going to view. Beautiful property.

I was wondering the same thing. I think you could be right with a perimeter lighting system that points up and down to uluminate the lower level interior concrete ( finished ) curved wall. One of the renderings that the architects left for the developer probably shows this . Imagine the place at night with the dark forest background with the floor lights accenting the ceiling windows of the atrium. Nice addition to the design style if this place ever gets completed. Allot of finish work ahead ....lol

Can’t cope with all the OMGs and Amazing’s …….. horrible concrete nightmare ! Someone with more money than brains started this mess ! Shoddy carpentry breaking down so quickly , double glazing faulty ! Can you even begin to imagine how much it would cost to even finish it ! And replace faulty carpentry items and damp problems ! No wonder no one has bought it ………..

You don't know what you're talking about. Everything breaks down quickly when exposed to the elements. No matter how good a quality the work is. The work I can see done is actually top notch. The leadwork on the staircase in the opening shots for example. The woodwork, the pools, it's all not only good but extremely good quality workmanship. It was simply unfinished and left exposed like I said.

if you compress something slowly you will get the oil and powder remnanats then if you remix them at normal tempsz they will rebond like a powdered glue .. so tunnels can be carved pressed and then compressed to the walls that way

I sold a couple properties in 2020 and I'm waiting for a house crash to happen so I buy cheap. In the meanwhile, I've been looking at stocks as an alt., any idea if it's a good time to buy? I hear people say it's a madhouse and a dead cat bounce right now but on the other hand, I still see and read articles of people pulling over $225k by the weeks in trades, how come?

The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading. This can only be done by a professional financial adviser.

Holes around the pool would most likely have been light wells to let natural daylight get to the passage way underneath, glass would have been put in them,, the car roof looks like its from a 1980s era Mercedes SL500

@@6996brandyl He said "we're always legal." He didn't say they had permission to be there. He is stretching the truth - what he means is that they didn't commit a criminal offence, which is correct but they were trespassing, which is a civil offence.
