Today Don and I are exploring Juneau, Alaska! We are met by a member of the locafam who is from Juneau and we all venture around the port area. We goto Tracy's King Crab Shack, attempt the Red Dog Saloon, and shop for some souvenirs in this Majestic Princess cruise adventure. Stay to then end for a whale tease.

I loved Juneau so much. It was raining even harder when we were there, but it was still glorious. We did a whale watching and Mendenhall Glacier tour and loved every minute of it.

We did as well, choosing to spend our time there doing that was far more rewarding than any shopping or going for crab. If I were to return I would choose that again.

Thank you for the vlog information enjoyed our Cruise . in Juneau AK Aug 10th . It was light raining too but made Alaska feel like Alaska. We had great time.

We went on that tram, on our Honeymoon, after we did a tour called “bike and brew” they gave us unlimited flights of craft beers after biking around a glacier. We were hammered when we went on that tram and bought everyone we know Alaskan food Knives and bowls….fun day!

Hey Tony, Ha.... of all the things u heard about Alaska, the one thing I told you rang true today... not even 3 minutes into your video and you said wow, I can even breathe better up here... LOL.. Visited the Red Dog Saloon years ago when on a Holland America cruise. Lots of character. The floor was covered with sawdust. Also rode the tram. We really enjoyed Juneau.

Regarding breathing better....my husband is practically allergic to the planet. However, during the weeks we were there, he has no issues. And yes, he also said he could breathe better. Enjoying your videos!

I'm so happy to see it raining. I was there in late August 2019 and there was a miserable drought! It was tough seeing the locals being so stressed out because the water is so valuable to every aspect of Alaskan life. The people there don't see climate change or pollution as a political issue. They have a genuine respect for the splendor of the nature that they love. ❤
