I agree. With these Jurassic Park Analog Horror videos, they work best when they’re played out as just a tape that was censored/hidden from the public, instead of the typical Analog Horror videos. Since those thrive off of the Paranormal, which isn’t something that really works with a franchise like Jurassic Park. There aren’t really ghosts in Jurassic Park at least from what I remember. Idk maybe they’ll do that in JW4, who knows.

@@DinoDiego16 Ah yes Diego this reminds me. Sorry I didn't mention it in the pinned comment, but I'm planning on doing an actual series on Dinosaur Analog Horror. I suppose it is going to kind of be like The Walten Files, a series which is clearly based on Five Nights at Freddy's due to the animatronics but the story is different enough to be considered as it's own thing. My dinosaur VHS series will be based on Jurassic Park, but again hopefully be different enough from it. So if you do end up doing a second video I would appreciate it if you checked it out. I would understand if you would not want to check it out though as it is not really going to be Jurassic Park. The idea of Jurassic Park and horror is something that speaks to me profoundly. I would credit my love of suspense and horror being originated by the original film with the iconic kitchen and car scenes, so something about this really gets me excited, however it would require a very new original kind of tone in the analogue horror setting in order to actually be effective.

According to the legend, in a time long ago, when the world was still young and filled with prehistoric creatures, there was a young hunter named Dino Diego who lived in a small village at the edge of a vast forest. Dino was known throughout the village for his skill with a bow and his courage in the face of danger. One day, as Dino was out hunting for food, he stumbled upon a strange cave deep within the forest. As he approached the cave, he heard a low rumbling noise coming from within. Curious and fearless, Dino Diego ventured inside and discovered a massive Mastodon, one of the largest creatures he had ever seen. To his surprise, the Mastodon did not attack him. Instead, it seemed to recognize him as a worthy hunter and allowed him to approach. Dino Diego felt a deep connection to the creature, and he sensed that it was somehow special and sacred. As Dino Diego continued to visit the Mastodon in secret, he began to have visions and dreams of a great power that was guiding him to a higher purpose. He realized that he had been chosen by the divine to lead his people to salvation. Dino Diego returned to his village, and he began to share his visions with his fellow villagers. At first, they were skeptical and even frightened by his stories. But as Dino Diego continued to hunt and provide for his community, they began to see that he was a true leader and a man of great wisdom and courage. Over time, Diego's influence grew, and he became known as the Lord of the Dinos, a title that he wore with pride and humility. He led his people through many trials and challenges, always relying on his faith in the divine and his deep connection to the Mastodon. Today, Dino Diego is celebrated as a patron saint by those who seek strength, courage, and divine guidance in their own lives. His legend reminds us that even in the face of great danger and uncertainty, we can find hope and purpose in the power of faith and the divine.

CC analog horror idea: its just like a regular camp cretaceous commercial and stuff, showcasing the ziplines, treehouses, dinosaurs and what not. but theres gonna be flickers of static partway through, then it shows some guy running with the bottom of a laboratory floor, but the power is cut out and you can hear gas leaking. it cuts back to the commercial again. yadda yadda, then theres a glitching effect. it shows a better view of a laboratory corridor, with chewed wires, metallic doors and what not. theres a scream before clanging metal and a strange growl with almost... eating sounds? it cuts back to the commercial one more time, but then the commercial ends. it skips back again, and this time shows... red eyes glaring at him from the dark, presumably those of the scorpios rex, then it runs at him and eats him with screams, before it glitches and the video ends.

Dinosaurs on their own are already horrifying enough. Add Body Horror and EAS scenarios and you could think of something pretty unique.

While I'm not that interested in analog horror, I am glad you mentioned the suitmation trials, as that is the only series in the genre that has genuinely creeped me out. The use of the 55 suit with those eyes over it really just adds to the creep factor those old suits had, its well-made and doesn't give me the cheap haunted house feel a few of these Jurassic Park ones did, they start off looking great but when it gets to the images flashing with loud audio playing, it just comes off as a dude going "OOGABOOGABOOGA!!" In a mask, may seem harsh but that's how it came off to me and is probably why analog horror isn't my cup of tea lol. I do agree that Jurassic Park and analog horror can work and make something good, though wish they'd take their focus off the raptors and onto the T. Rex instead. I know in the main triology, they were depicted as being terrifying due to their intelligence, but I always felt that the bigger carnivores were scarier, sure, a pack of raptors is scary to face against, but facing against something that's larger, incredibly stronger than you or any raptor, and can kill you with ease always woke a primal fear in me ever since I was a kid. Which makes the I-Rex a bloody nightmare. Would be cool to see some horror related stuff with it someday!

The thing with analog horror is that, in my experience, generally the videos/"tapes" made for them get creepy because there's something inherently unnatural about the video, be it from strange interference or a skewed agenda from whoever in-universe edited it together. It feels kinda weird to see that approach taken to the Jurassic Park setting, which is mostly grounded in reality beyond the artistic license with genetics. Like you said, more grounded approaches are possible with stuff like Incident Report. Having confidential grisly stories of dinosaur incidents or a well-edited, corrupted recording of a dinosaur attack certainly work well into the niche. But with what else is seen here, it's easy for people to want to slip into the ideas of supernatural tape corruption or evil beings editing tapes to send a message/taunt/warning. As far as lore "accurate", the only way I think you could get away with that would be drawing from the time Universal turned the Orlando Jurassic Park area into a Halloween Horror Nights event, since anything associated with those are implied to be influenced by evil spirits or whatever. Would be a stretch regardless.

A Jurassic park or just Dino in general themed analogue horror is actually a really cool idea. Not to sound rude for these creations, but they do feel lacking slightly. Like the trying to imitate Fnaf, and the book references (while appreciated) feel slightly out of place. Like everything is there to make something great, but the puzzle pieces to make a great one just aren’t clicking yet

@@NeisanKaiju That would be awesome! I think it would be cool to see some kind of lost tape on the Troodons since Hammond himself wanted them destroyed. Plus the creepy clicking sounds they make would help to add to the eerieness of it all.

Watching this and seeing how well analog horror can turn a popular franchise into something disturbing I would honestly love to see this kind of treatment be done to Cod Zombies. I would love to see an analog horror series going over the events of world at war and black ops 1. Like tapes being filmed by 935 during their experiments and using real imagery of the actual Der Reise, Verruckt, and Tunguska. Idk just wishful thinking.
