In this video we'll be visiting the Tate Modern in London to see the Polish artist Magdalena Abakanowicz’s exhibition called Every Tangle of Thread and Rope.
Abakanowicz was famous for her large-scale woven textile works, known as Abakans. She was a pioneer in reimagining the definition of sculpture and paved the way for art installations today.
This exhibition visualises the transformation her work went through in the early stages of her career, moving from 2-dimensional into 3-dimensional.
