Yes! His tone and beautiful soothing voice are such a pleasure to listen to. And words so well chosen, you can't help but feel the human element of the inhabitants of these structures with the romance and their tragic struggles, is it as if the walls speak to him. He shows such tremendous reverence for the inhabitants no matter what their history..it just such an honor to be able to see this. I may not be from Pakistan or speak the language but I feel a connection with the humanity of the families and people that lived in them. Their daily fight to survive and the human cost, is common to all cultures. But his beautiful words make us connect with the families on a very personal level and he does such a wonderful job of respecting and honoring them. He brings such warmth to these cold walls. i am sure their spirits are pleased. Thank you for the English subtitles too. So fascinating! At the end of the video, I find myself wanting more. What an incredibly talented gentleman and so down to earth at the same time, it is an honor to watch these series.

I have spent my childhood in those areas of Lahore. Love to see the places again after half a century. Still love it after living Al most 60 years in London. Your knowledge about the area is amazing . My children who are born and brought up in London can’t understand my love for this history of the area. Thank you .

My grandfather was and my father is very closely linked to Syed Babar Ali's family. This association started in 1920s and is going on till this day. Baalwala's all videos are worth watching but this one specially caught my attention because of Wajid Ali's name. I have attended majalis in the havelis of this family in Mochi since childhood. Thank you for making this video.

Rightly said! Indian history is simply incredible and amaze one to the core. But we must not forget when we research, analyse and visit any historical places in Sub continent is actually a part of Indian or Hind history. Only after partition we used terms like Pakistani or Indian history. We must feel pride in acknowledging that we are the owner of the ancient civilisation, THE INDUS . Let's Co- exist!

Once again my words fail to express the excitement brought in by the splendid description of historical places of the magnificent city. The conception of considering Delhi as a model old city is removed from my mind by witnessing the glory of various markets of Lahore shown in your videos My father and eldest brother had the opportunity of staying in this royal city during their academic years during 30s due to the non-availability of university in our hometown Srinagar, Kashmir. Both of them used to speak a lot about Sailkot Rawalpindi and Lahore. God bless you.
