"The Land of Enchantment" is what they say about New Mexico, and after this trip I have to say that is correct! I adventure through the Southern part of the Gila National Forest, find some trails that aren't exactly wide enough, and get blown away by the beauty of the untouched land.

Born and raised there. All those "trails" are old forest service roads. I've done all of those multiple times in a full size 67 2wd Ford 😂 Fun stuff

Yeah, my dad said the same thing. That he could do it in his 2wd truck 😂 But when you got the 4wd, why not use it a little . That area is a lot of fun through there!

@@explorationoverland 😁 for sure, I'll never own a 2wd again 🤣 Did what we could with what we had. I did have a 4 hour walk to the highway once because I got a little too cocky and buried my truck in the sand. Good exercise

Cool man. Thanks for video. Gave me some Ideas. First of your video's I’ve watched. Need to check out the others. I’ll be in NM mid Nov. thru first week of Dec. Dispersed camping/overlanding and riding SxS. I have lots of tracks and PINS to explore in the Gila forest but they are all north of this area. I added a few PINS on my Gaia GPS for Saddle Rock now just in case. I have no timeline or schedules once I get there, just chillin, riding and camping thru-out the mid-to-southern state of NM so future will tell if I make it there. Plan to move every two days or so to new areas.

That sounds awesome and like a ton of fun! I will be back down in NM in Decmber for suspension testing.
