🐋🌊 Follow our adventure to Newfoundland as we dive into the breathtaking landscapes and rich history of Newfoundland in this captivating adventure vlog! Starting with an exhilarating Whale Watching and Puffin Tour, we set the tone for an unforgettable journey. We saw many whales and so many birds on Gull Island close to Bay Bulls.
As we made our way to the Bay of Exploits, we stopped to learn the fascinating history of aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart before hitting the road again. Our next stop was Point of Bay, a charming coastal town steeped in maritime heritage. Witness the awe-inspiring beauty of this area from a drone perspective.
We explored the area around Leading Tickles and stopped to catch a glimpse of the legendary Giant Squid.
Explorations continued with a visit to Killick Island, followed by a journey through the enchanting Insectarium and Butterfly Garden. This was a highlight as some of us were able to hold some strange insects. As we traverse the rugged terrain, we encounter the picturesque Rocky Harbour and the quaint Lobster Cove.
We loved to learn about the remains of the SS Ethie Shipwreck, while also throwing lots of rocks at the artifacts. We also made stops along the west coast of Gros Morne National Park at Shallow Bay, the scenic Cow Head Peninsula, and then back to the tranquil shores of Rocky Harbour Beach.
But our adventure doesn't end there! Bid farewell to Rocky Harbour as we head towards the vibrant city of St. Johns, stopping to admire the iconic Cape Spear and Lighthouse. Along the way, pay homage to Canadian hero Terry Fox before reaching the historic Signal Hill.
The weather didn't always agree with us around St Johns but we made the best of it. We will cherish the memories made and the wonders discovered throughout our Newfoundland expedition. Don't miss out on this unforgettable journey through one of Canada's most captivating regions! 🚗✨
