Dongdaemun fabric market has everything a tailor could wish for, I'm not a tailor and i definitely don't know how to make a set of curtains.
B1 - bedding, machine thread, some yarns,

Hi! A Seamstress is here. The lady cut it right. Usually when you buy fabrics they add a bit more of inches or centimeters in case the fabric is cut a bit in diagonal directions so the extra fabric will allow you to correct it. Plus you have to sew it. Also I love your videos. Hope you get more. subscribers soon.👻

I had a feeling that was going to be the problem haha. You could just move the hooks wider and it would stretch out the middle part yeah? No clue if that would work but worth a try lol

You wanted 148 cm. She does not sell 148cm. They sell by 1 yard which was 90cm I am guessing so she suggested 2 yards which was 180cm. They only sell 1 yard 2 or 3. So you paid 2 yards for 12000 won. So who has been stupid ?

Daiso sell sticky back Velcro ( it’s in the sewing section) I’ve used it to hang Roman blinds ( I’m not allowed to drill into the wall to put up curtain rails) you could stick Velcro along the top of your window frame and the top of your material. Then just get something to tie tin the middle of the material half way down in for the daytime to let light in. That material market looked amazing ! Great video 😄

Joe has the velcro blinds from Daiso, they're such a pain in the ass to put up with the flimsy little black clips. i'd rip them off through frustration if i had those ! 👊

@@PirateDan I bought mine from IKEA and used the Velcro. But the IKEA ones are too small for Korean windows but I have a sewing machine and altered them. If you were in my city I’d make you a pair 😃 I understand Korean owners don’t want people drilling in the walls but I don’t understand why they don’t put up curtain rails or something? In all the countries I’ve lived in this is the first time I’ve had an issue with covering windows. I miss European outdoor shutters that give total blackout coverage. I love living in Korea but I’ve got to say the window issue and not being able to hang pictures up is utterly bizarre but everyone I know has the same issue🤷‍♀️
