Exploring Oregon 1.0 by Morrisey Productions.
Our goal with this video was to capture the most scenic locations the State of Oregon has to offer. Our journey started at on the North Oregon Coast and continued South until we reached Samuel Boardman State Park. From there we headed inland towards Mt Hood and Trillium Lake. After a night stay there we made our way towards the Painted Hills in Eastern Oregon. After a day of filming we headed back West and stopped at Rowena Crest for one final shot. Other locations we visited along the way included Ecola State Park, Pacific City, and the Lincoln City Thumb. We love exploring Oregon and the entire PNW discovery new locations to film. During the production of this video we traveled nearly 1,000 miles. For the most part we camped at various State Parks and occasionally wherever we could park my Jeep for the night. Of all the locations we filmed I think Samuel Boardman State Park on the Southern Oregon Coast is the most scenic.

The most beautiful state in America. It's got it all. Mountains, lakes, rivers, white water rapids, waterfalls, caves, dunes, desert, valleys and the best coastline. Pacific Wonderland was what the old license plates said. Can't remember what it says now. But for Louisiana license plate to say Sportsman's Paradise is ridiculous. Oregon has the most variety of landscapes and sport than just about any state.

While Oregon is one of the most beautiful and diverse locations on earth, it takes real skill and cinematic prowess to be able to convey the State in the manner in which you did. Greetings Chandru of Toronto. I am a native Oregonian of 70 years and I'm having trouble recognizing the exact location of these scenes due to the unique accessibility of the drone. I can tell you that most of the coast offers scenic vistas just as good. One such place is Ecola State Park, located right outside Cannon Beach, Oregon. KZfaq offers several videos on that specific place. It's easy to reach from big city Portland, a two hour, 100 miles drive along a good mountain pass highway. The town of Cannon Bach offers many tourist hotels and restaurants. The beauty of the Oregon coast is further enhanced by the fact that the entire 300 miles coastline is open to the public. It's basically an unspoiled and wild beach area due to a low population base of only small towns and cities. The best time to visit is late June to late Sept. Visitors are always welcome!
