Come join us as we take a 10 day trip through Japan! This time around, we wanted to visit places that we have never been to, while making some last minute decisions to revisit some of our old favorites. In part one of this 3-part series, we visit Osaka, known for its street food and its down to earth and easy-going locals. We hit up a few touristy spots (you kind of have to), but it’s the hidden gems that we stumbled upon, including some tiny but amazing bars, that made our visit that much more memorable! We ended our stay in the Kansai region with a day trip to Kyoto, where we revisited a few of our favorite spots and discovered new ones as well!

Hi, great video and very enjoyable for us as we head to Osaka & Kyoto next week. In all our research, in so many videos folks will show great shots of the food and drink and it's brilliant - but - almost no one will quote the price 😕 when you're on a budget it's very good to know what you're in for when it comes to the associated costs. Hope you don't mind my 'constructive' critique...again, we loved your video, thank you / Dōmo arigatō 😃

When was this trip made? We'll be going in Dec and wonder if it will snow like in your video.

This was filmed in late January. It did not snow while we were in Osaka, but we did get a lot of snow in Kyoto and Takayama. It was still very cold in Osaka!
