The khukuri is not only the national knife of Nepal but is also a symbolic weapon of the Gurkha soldier’s ( bravery). Nepal has never been colonised in history due to our brave soldiers they didn’t had any weapons other than Khukuri but still they were able to get victory. The khukuri has been the weapon of choice for the Gorkhas of Nepal and the famous Gorkhali Sainik (soldier)of King Prithivi Narayan Shah since the 16th century.

Brother I guarantee you will never regret travelling to Nepal. If possible get a 3 month visa, and in this time you will still not see everything you want to. From far East to far West from North to South you will find so many different cultures and so many different experiences. I first went in 1982 and will return for my 10th visit in September this year. I think you will fall in love with Nepal like I did over 40 years ago. Happy travels🙏☺

the emblem is actually khukuri cross. Khukuri is Nepali knife which are also used by the Gurkhaz (Armies from Nepal). The khukuri cross symbolizes the strength that these Army have.

Actually taxi drivers are charging more then what the actual price is years ago the government of pokhara made an rule that all Uber driver must use metter as u can see in rest of the world but here in Nepal government makes rules and no one follows. I don’t know our government is weak or the mindset of those taxi drivers. Be aware and spend ur money in a right way. Loving the series love from Pokhara ❤

I was really surprised when the dhaka topi seller told the price of the cap to be 250 and 350 as me being nepali was expecting little bit more than that. They were really honest. Thanks for the tip.

Those 4 taxi drivers were about to charge you more but the moment they knew that you’re making a vlog ,they got scared that they might get in trouble if they charge you more😂 and then gave you a reasonable price😋

My father fought with the Ghurkas in 2nd World War. It must have been tough. He didn’t talk much about it. But he did tell us about fighting in the jungle and the monkeys. .

Gorkha = warrior They use those weapons to fight with in combat, in ceremonies and there’s a type called khasi maara that is used to behead goats. (Curried goat is amazing! But not too much ‘atoo khursani’- hot chilli). They used to have a brand of cigarettes there called kukri too… very strong. I always asked family & friends to bring me some back…

Hey Luke, sure thing! When you go for your next haircut, just ask the stylist to keep the sides short like they are now, but cut the top down by half or 3/4. I think it'll make you look great! 😊
