Chicago does have beautiful Gothic Architecture downtown though. The most incredible city I’ve s ever visited! Not the no expense spared St. Petersburg, but gritty, real city architecture.

Oh, they say Chicago is a beautiful industrial city with its own twist. But, of course, if you want to come to St. Petersburg. It is really beautiful here in summer, in autumn (when the maples turn red) and on New Year's Eve (fabulous illumination and illumination of the city). Be sure to try the local treat crumpets (similar to donuts, but tastier 😉) and visit the Hermitage. I think you'll be pleased. Everything will be fine 💖

if you think there is quiet my friend you didn't visit / see Lowest Novgorod or Irkutsk for example. These towns are smaller then SPb, less people and cars but they are still beautiful like Petersburg (at least in historical centres). After these towns Petersburg seems like extra bustling city (as I noticed :)

let me explain to you. 1. in ussr there was a government goal that every person should have a house/apartment. There was mass building of cheap apartment blocks. Also a lot of population lives in villages. So its not so easy to become homeless in russia. 2. there is much less human rights in russia than in usa. you cant just live in a tent in a city center. police will arrest/push you away. also you cannot just lay on the street. thereare homeless people in russia but they are hiding in the outskirts, basements etc. Im sure in China its the same.

Both are beautiful. Greets from German-Russians who love Russia and the world. Moscow, Saint Petersburg and whole Russia is beautiful. Oh and we are all connected - so please stop it. Every city has it's own character like also countries. Whole Russia is beautiful - like whole earth and whole universe.

I still prefer Moscow though, it has both the cozy old European feel and a bit of imperialistic feel to it too, which I'm not a big fan of, but it's a great city

Fun fact: This city was insiped by big European cities, probably Vienna included.

Spanish series are quite popular in Russia) I just wanted to say that I fell in love with the Spanish culture and even started learning the language a little. For some reason I remembered [ Fresa ] from a lot of words. In general, someday I will visit Spain, thanks for the nice comment
