Shivagange is uniquely shaped like a Shivalinga, and a nearby spring called "Ganga" gives the place its name. Known as Dakshina Kashi (Kashi of the South), it boasts several notable temples including Gangadhareshwara Temple, Sri Honnammadevi Temple, Olakal Teertha, Nandi Statue, and Patalagang Sharadambe Temple.
