Built in the 1920's, it was the intention of two philanthropists to improve the wellbeing of the boys who worked across Wales' coal mines. This camp in south-Wales provided over 100 boys with accommodation and sporting facilities to give them some respite over the summer. When the site closed in the 1990's, it fell into disrepair and is now dilapidated and falling apart.

Nicely done as always guys! The music at the very beginning made me think we were in for a South Wales inspired Deliverance duelling banjos scene. What a shame the ignorant plebs with spray cans have to ruin everything they can find.In the right place this sort of thing looks amazing and can be very photogenic, sadly this isn't one of those places.

When I was 18 I worked there in 1990 as part of a team. All the amenities were there pool, gym and games room were put to good use. The outside left wall of the chapel there is a small brass plaque where the managers dog was buried. Was an amazing time working there.

I’m amazed any of this is still standing - I remember this being a popular one back in maybe 2008ish. Nice to see your take on it :-)

When we went there at night 10 years ago, the church was complete, it had beautiful moziac tiles and some people had painted a giant pentagram on the floor was well creepy

Well done, probably the best Urbex channel on youtube. I think you got the pace of this video just right.

Although the senetaph is Grade 2 listed, theres no guarantee that this will protect it. Property speculators have a way of cash passing certain hands in order to get their own way. In our neck of the woods, some noted structures have been demolished 'in a hurry'. Too late then.

Such a shame it’s been vandalised and left to fall apart. I’d imagine not too many people would want to live so close to those high tension power lines.

Interesting video guy's, shame its been left to decay and not repurposed for another use. As always, brilliantly filmed and narrated, well done.

@@travels77 ye I did go ion the end. Some locals said the person who owned it left and since then gate been wide open they apar were in the house just down road from it. Issue is now its become the hotspot for locals to chill so always loads of youth there
