Doesn’t look like it supports all chains. For example SHX also rides on the stellar chain but the Tangem only has the ERC21 option. Thoughts?

How would this work with an original card that does not have a seed phrase? Do the original cards support the new networks?

Hi, obviously when tangem came out it was advertised as a very safe & easy wallet to have & set up & with not have any seed phrase needed it is easier to set up & use for people who are limited in the tech knowledge. My question is, is using the Tangem wallet in original format still safe as they originally said it was & if so why have they now added seed phrase options, your thought's on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i have read that Tangem only added the seed phrase option b/c people have requested it. They recommend not using the seed phrase.

I realize this is an old video, but I'll ask anyway... Do you know if there is a difference between the Tangem 2.0 and Tangem X? All of the specs appear to be the same but why put 2.0 on the product if it's not any different?

As near as I can figure, it’s some sort of branded card being offered by a company called New World elite LLC. It looks like they partnered with Tangem for this and Tangem supplies the underlying technology and then new world elite distributes the cards. I would assume they’re probably not much different than a regular Tangem card, just branded. And maybe they have some functionality to allow the end-user to log into their account. As near as I can figure, it is some sort of financial consulting company. new-world-elite.tangem.com/

@@CryptoDad Thanks for the reply... They have so many choices, I wasn't sure if they are all mostly the same or if the 2.0 was the newest offering. After comparing specs, most of them are exactly the same with a few exceptions. I'll make sure to use your referral code when I place an order.

show seed phrase on mobile divice is totally a wrong way for a hardware wallet.it's total similar like a hot wallet.they should develop a screen for the card like secux and coolwallet.

Yes, that’s true. But it’s due to the constraints of the device itself. It was originally envisioned as a simple to use device and it served its purpose well. but due to customer complaints, they were compelled to add the seed phrase option and then with it’s current design, (no screen) this was the only way to display the seed phrase to the user. I know there are many people that refuse to use Tangem because they cannot get a confirmation of sending addresses on the device.

There are specific tokens on the Base network that you might be interested in purchasing. ( that you can’t find on Ethereum)

Hi ceyptoDad. I already have an existing tangem wallet. It is possible to improve my security seedphrase by set up a passephrase with the same seedphrase?

I think I explained this pretty clearly in the video. The answer is no. You cannot alter an existing seed phrase. You’re going to need to start a new wallet with a 24 word seed phrase and transfer your assets over.

You do not need to enter your passphrase anytime that you use your hidden wallet. You just use your access code!

Seems like that somehow overrides the entire idea of pass phrase protection to allow you direct access

Any credit card hardware wallet is not safe to store crypto because is credit card software wallet.

That's a misconception. This is not a credit card. It is a hardware device that uses near field communication (NFC) that is the same size as a credit card. The private key is stored separately on the card. Therefore, it fits the definition of a hardware wallet by storing the private key separate from the phone application.
