Exploring the Hidden Town of Kirkby Lonsdale + DEVIL'S BRIDGE (Lake District, England)

Today we're exploring The Devil's Bridge near the Lake District in the north of England, which honestly looks like something from Game of Thrones.
Kirkby Lonsdale is an quaint and relatively unspoilt market town that sits between the three counties of Cumbria, Lancashire and North Yorkshire I can 100% recommend a trip here - it offers a picturesque base from which to explore the English Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland.
The weather wasn't great but we still headed out to explore, sat for a drink in a cosy pub and then went to explore the Enchanted chocolate mine here. Plus, headed up to see the MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEW IN THE WORLD - or so some say!

haahahahaha this was filmed in February just before lockdown and it was FREEZING! ahahahha I know!! I would recommend for you to visit once things are back to normal! Thank you so so much for watching

Hahaha I can imagine! I think every place is like that though - you always get sick of your hometown even when it looks snazzy to other people! You’ll have to pop into Manchester when you get the chance (and when things are back to normal!) :)

@@BellaDiary Ah. I am from Manchester! 🤣 I have spent my life equally in both places. I prefer Worsley canal bridge to Devil's Bridge! 🤣 Nah, they are both great, just different. Both got so much to offer. Settle and Ingleton are places you might want to film if you're up that way again! 😊👍

I’ve been to neither of those places!! Ahhh thank you so much - i might just have to add them to my list! I’ve never heard of that bridge! Sooo much to see! Have you been to wales? There’s a bridge in wales somewhere that’s EPIC with just gorgeous views - I’ll have to find the name for you x

@@BellaDiary I think this is going to be confusing but is it called Devil's Bridge in Wales too? I haven't been, but seen it on a KZfaq video! Ah call yourself a Manc and you don't know Worsley canal! 😉 it's the posh part of Salford and the loopline path through Worsley Woods that goes along the canal is a lovely walk! There are some nice cafes and a lovely Italian restaurant in Boothstown, just up the road too! 😋 You can ride on a canal barge. You should do a blog in summer when it looks it's best!

Yes absolutely!! I film on a little Canon Powershot G9X! really handy because it just fits in my pocket - I'd like a bigger camera one day but I just feel like I wouldn't carry it around!! Hope this helps x

You missed such a lot in your video for instance, 'the nicest view in the world' was where Turner painted one of his most talked-about works; the Swine Market owned by Cambridge University; the bikers who gather at Devils Bridge.

You’re right I missed quite a lot! You seem to know loads about it - much more than me ahahah! This was just my take on the place - wasn’t there for long but crammed as much as I could in!
