I am extremely frustrated with the health care system and PET SCANS and cancer. Why are the insurance companies not paying for these for anyone who is diagnosed before they are treated along with PET SCANS monitoring for all cancer patients yearly for a appropriate time frame? How can we make this happen? My own story along with many others cancers are getting missed. My great nephew is 3.5 years old. He was diagnosed on his 2nd birthday with neuroblastoma Stage 4. They have been doing MIGB scans and they have missed another cancer which either is a new one, metastic, etc if he would have been monitored with a PET SCAN. I hope AI can be a additional tool with helping with catching these things. BUT I WANT THE LAW CHANGED TO HELP OTHERS. TO BE ADDED ON TO YOUR SCREENINGS YOU WERE ABLE TO GET DONE.
