Part 2 of our northern New Mexico expedition continues as we link up with the Enchanted Rockies Trail and explore some new routes that introduce new challenges. Conditions change rapidly and we find our little convoy in another sticky situation. Even so, we understand why it's called the Land of Enchantment as we can't seem to get enough.

I was always under the impression that NM was purely desert and canyons. I was surprised to see lush greenery and vegetation. Beautiful place. I wish i could make it here someday. Greetings from the Philippines. 🇵🇭

Thanks for a very enjoyable video. I fell in love with New Mexico 50 years ago when I was stationed at Holloman Air Force Base. I traveled every back road I could find on a small motorcycle. I enjoyed it for two years until early spring of 1970 when I was discharged.

few feelings in life surpass that of having capable machinery, in competent hands, way to go, guys, and kudos to Momma Bear! I love NM, especially Cimmaron Canyon, the Enchanted Circle area, Las Trampas (the mission is a must see!), and around Los Alamos, to Jimenez Springs. The Gila, and over by Chama, are also great! Love the videos, and the adventures, thanks again for taking us along!

Great video! I am new to the channel and to back your claim on the mud is spot on. I was born and raised in New Mexico and the mud here can get pretty intense and slick. I love the drone shots and exploration!

Love your videos and calm, non-dramatic style. If I had planned better career paths in my youth I would be better able to go on some of these epic trips but still working on it for the future. Northern New Mexico is beautiful and all don’t Get me wrong, ain’t nothing like that refreshing air in our forests but the real enchantment is our deserts. You can’t go to New Mexico and not at least just pass by the organ mountains. Or the white sands. Lots of Great hiking trails.

I worked for four summers just south of the Val Vidal at the Philmont Scout ranch. Living in the mountains every day can have an effect on how you see life and what your priorities become. I'd give up living in a mansion in a heartbeat if I could live once again in that small cabin near Black Mountain..

My dad would take us seven kids and my mom on Sunday drives around northern New Mexico back in the '50s & '60s. Don't know if it was coincidence or something else, but we lost waterpumps a few times on the drive up the Rio Grande to Taos and back.

Muddy roads are so much fun, right? Does the TurtleBack have brakes? If so, did they help straighten it out? Also, I went to the class at Expo West about towing a trailer off road. Great info. Any insights about tongue weight when going off road? Too heavy and your steer tires get too lose. Too light and your rear tires lose traction. Have you found the sweet spot for tongue weight? Thanks!

Beautiful shots. What was it like getting a commercial pilot's certificate for the drone? I've always been interested in that, but there's tight restrictions in Colorado. Any special rules/regulations to be mindful of out there? Love the videos!
