You’re right about our Chinatown. They’ve overdone it with the refurbishment and it now feels like a bona fide tourist trap. Much of Singapore is like this

Wow, well done bro, u covered the Very different cultural corners of Singapore. I personally like little india most. Missing is the famous Tekka market with lots of Indian foods and the massive 24 hrs mustafa shopping centre, where u can escape from the day heat. Come Sunday, the whole area is crowded with many Indians and Bangladeshis. Really looks like in India. ❤❤❤

A change of t shirt would be nice. One very essential item that most locals carry when going out; a small towel or handkerchief to wipe your perspiration. Most ladies would carry a compact umbrella to shield off the sun.

This is lovely, I have never visited Asia but I hope to some day soon and your video is a real motivator.Some of the streets look narrow but everywhere is busy with people trying to sell,brilliant really.Thanks for sharing, looking forward to future videos

Guys I truly understand the heat as I personally don't like it. You probably should have a portable cooler fan that could be worn round the neck and carry a packet of wet wipes. It helps! And haha never wear dark colours under the hot sun. 🍻

Suggest you take MRT North South Lines as it travelled elevated tracks after Bishan Station and you get lovely view of Singapore true heartlands, alight at Jurong East and change to East West Line back to city.

Nah the real Singapore is the heartland HDB estates like Tampines, Bedok, Ang Mo Kio, Jurong etc.

Visit mustafa! Drink teh halia (ginger tea), eat at an vegetarian Indian restaurant raj and try the chapati and idli with indian curries .

The spiral staircase behind the old buildings is actually for fire escape. There should be a door next to where the McD is, where the stairs lead up to the actual front door of the apartment. U didn’t visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Sri Mariamman Temple (Hindu) in Chinatown?

I’m doing through your Singapore vids right now and the 1st thing that came to mind was “why are they wearing such dark colors in the heat?” I love your vids guys, going to be where y’all were in 7 days! You seem to hit all of our interest areas except Universal Studios, we have that here in the US, so going to pass on that in Singapore. Thank you for sharing your journey with everyone 😊 I agree with your comment about Dubai, what an utter letdown, felt artificial and nothing but malls, no real culture stood out at all.
