These forests also contained Black bears, Brown bears, and several other species of animals and plants that are now extinct in these regions of California. I was researching the history of my area, and saw photographs in the 1800s. The forests were much denser and much larger then. I have stumps on my property that are 15 feet across, but the largest living (remaining) trees are barely half that size. Great video.

don't know if they're psychedelic but they're definitely mushrooms. Some mushrooms and trees actually share a symbiotic relationship with one another. The trees give the mushrooms certain nutrients because mushrooms have no root system and mushrooms give the trees certain nutrients. They live together as a community. It's quite beautiful.

Probably a little late, don't trust Firefox's DownloaderHelper, gave me a virus. Try this downloadable program called "KZfaqDownloader" It's pretty trustable and hasn't given me any problems.
