Seriously, we have these overclocked brains for a *reason.* So we can *REASON!* BAD THINGS happen when we let emotion override rationality. I have a *lifetime* of experience on the subject due to a laundry list of mental health disorders.

Yeah, 2399 is basically a spaceship that is Mekhane's "broken spear" A.K.A. a giant sentient laser. It destroyed the false body because if he was repaired, Yaldabaoth would be released, not to mention the damage an insane Broken God could cause

The Church of the Broken God is better than the Mechanicus because they actually want to make advancements for the betterment of mankind and aren't actively afraid of inventing new things out of some stupid idea that they've already invented everything they're "supposed to" with any new creations representing heresy.

CotBG is by far my favorite faction in SCP because they are technophiles of an almost impossible degree. Plus there direct rival the Sarkics are there exact reverse. Instead of metal it’s flesh, instead of logic and intelligence it’s instinct.

@@theneverwhere6076 they do have similar beliefs tho and they are partially inspired by the Admech But if there is a faction in sci fi or fantasy that could be compared to the CotBG is the technocracy from World of darkness because techno wizards working with a pseudo SCP foundation and UNGOC fusion is really cool plus they shot a vampire with a space laser

@@theneverwhere6076 eh i just know like an overall summary of the setting which is cool but i have never read any of the books outside of some small things basically what i mean is that the world is Well constructed and things like factions and concepts of how the world works is pretty cool like the fact that wizards cant use their Magic anymore beacause people dont believe in It anymore and reality Will just kill them if they use any type of Magic thats why the NWO uses magic disguised as technology so they dont die
