Such a kickass idea for drawing. You should log all your favorite playthroughs like this and have them books published. Plenty of people would buy them for the art work alone the continuity throughout the book is just a big bonus. Good work

These are some of the most beautiful sketchbooks I've ever seen, especially that Elden Ring one. It's funny because I'm keeping a journal/sketchbook for my progress in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, treating it as though I am really a traveler going through Hyrule, documenting my journey. It's a really creative way of immersing yourself into a game and story. Instant new subscriber here. I look forward to watching your other videos! ❤

I'm inspired to get to work on anything after watching this peek into your books- don't worry what anybody else says "should" be about anything to do with your amazing creative voice, just follow that inner compass. When you mentioned personalizing the covers, I thought "Yeah, the plain black cover just looks like homework, the others look fun and beautiful". I'm so glad this popped up, will look at more of your vids :)

Thanks to everyone who left a nice comment on this ole video. if anyone reads this, I am going to do a flip through of the elden ring journal, it will be a video for every major section of the game. I have to polish up each section since some of it was left only halfway sketches. Limgrave alone is like 100 pages. so I will post when ready. Also like the idea of making books for other games in the future. I'm not a full time youtuber so I'm slow at getting videos out. my apologies in advanced.

Your art brought me a lot of joy today :) As for your comments about not liking seeing yourself draw, I can assure you that you're probably the only one who sees it. I know when I look at other people's timelapses or speedpaints that I mostly pay attention to their process. I can assure you that people who are interested in your work would be happy to see how it's made. In fact, I wonder that about a lot of artists' work and I started watching many because they explain their process in video So please don't be too critical of yourself! You might find a lot of growth there Good luck with your future art!

you are an amazing artist. I'd love to watch you draw or paint - watching artists' creative process intrigues me. It's so fascinating! I also love how you were more focused on creating - putting your ideas and thoughts onto paper, and less focused on the perfection of the artwork. I often feel the desire for perfection stifles the creative process which can often lead to people losing their joy in creating. Don't ever your doubts diminish your creativity! But it’s my favorite thing to do and show off. I love him so much and miss him, his sketchbook holds a piece of him and his personality. He was my life, and he was such a great dude. Please, if you’re just a friend, or a partner, or a mother or son or something, keep the notebooks, keep their sketches, keep their doodles, their texts, something. You will never know if it’s the last thing you see or hear or have of them.
