Fun Fact Castle Miner Became Battle Miner On 3DS

I absolutely love the Xbox 360. Got mine originally in 2006 with quake 4. Perfect dark zero. Kameo elements of power and dead or alive 4. Red ringed on me in late 2008 despite taking good care of it. Took a break from modern gaming and stuck with retro. Then my ex fiance got me the 360 slim on Christmas of 2011. Still works to this day. After almost a year long break I'm currently in a 360 mood again replying a bunch of classics like Bioshock. Lost planet and Wolfenstein 2009. So many fond memories of that console generation. :).

I think the 360 is not going to die anytime soon because of it's tight integration with Xbox services - one of the perks of backwards compatibility on newer Xboxes is playing live 360 games on one console. It's legendary and the only thing im seeing might get discontinued is the marketplace.

This is so great that people that can’t afford the new or last gen consoles can buy a Xbox 360 and play the old cods and still have the same experience as anyone else I think Xbox should put Xbox 360s on shelves again for people

Also, I want to say I agree that the Xbox 360 is gonna stay around for a while longer too, but not only because of the CoD servers coming back, but also because of the backwards compatibility of the Xbox One and Xbox Series X. All that the newer consoles do is just basically emulate an Xbox 360 to play the old games so they basically use the exact same game servers as the real 360s do, meaning if they shut down those servers, everyone on the newer consoles who want to play their 360 multiplayer games won't be able to anymore. I think that's reason enough to keep the servers around.

I played them all the time on the PS2! You were lucky because I always played with bots on BFII, thinking they were real people 😅 Playing with Vader made you feel like a god, he's just too good isn't he? 😂 Well, apart from the fact he has to lug himself everywhere but we won't talk about that because he's Vader 😅

That minecraft creative mode almost brought me to tears, i had a similiar world on survival mode, Built alot of stuff before it got corrupted

360 is definitely going to be popular again soon. All the old school CODs are at the top of the charts now. My local retro store usually has TONS of copies of COD for $2. They're all gone now 😂 Games were just better back then.

So glad I grew up with this console and its games. I'm only 18, but even I've noticed how gaming as a whole has change drastically from when I was a kid till now. And it hasn't been for the better. Hopefully in due time gaming can come back to this with everyone on the mic and enjoying and appreciating the 360 again. Can't wait to see more avatars wake up...

Not every Indie Game on the Xbox 360 were made equal, but we did pick out some really great ones. Unfortunately, the primary Xbox Live account on our Xbox 360 can no longer be accessed due to the annoying two factor authentication (I also think that the email tied to the account has long since been deactivated), meaning we can't access the Indie Games on it, made even worse with how they've been delisted. (Some other delisted Xbox Live Arcade games can't be fully accessed to either)

It's definitely great to see ppl still playing 360 games, but it's really annoying that the COD servers are too busy right now I can't even download BO II on my 360, Microsoft needs to update it's servers ASAP

Hi, for me, i really enjoy gears of war 3, I bought the dlc at 10 €/$ and is amazing what you can have for 10 bucks back in the days, I mean is literally a 3 hours mini campaign and about 10 multi-player characters.

Dude we NEED CastleMiner Z on the Xbox Series X. It's way fucking better than minecraft man, i played the heck out of it in 2011-12 with friends and it was so fucking addicting. I loved making guns killing zombies, aliens, dragons, skeletons and more. I still have my 360 hooked up next to my Series X to play this and other classics. I hope we get cm and cmz on the Series X, I've seen old indie games like Murder Miners get brought to the Xbox One/Series X so there's still hope. 🙏
