Good evening Gary thank you for this demonstration, it is really the best solution when there is interference to return to mono and choose the frequency that stabilizes the device, good luck and thank you for the explanations .. Toch and Alex Gironde France

Remember speaking tou you at detectival this year gary as we were leaving for the field you said dont forget sonar program that was on the sat Saturday did,t get much but sunday managed 1 1/2 full hammy john the first and a sun bather Henry the 3 cut half and jetton and a half of a silver bracelet wow great day to sonar 9inch fmf coil 28khz sonar could hear the loads of shotgun iron goodies inbetween we were going to come back early but ended staying till last knocking 5pm on the field

Thanks Gary, great video as usual. I loved the Deus 1 soooo much and swung one since 2015. It is a colonial killer in the woodlots of New England in forested cellar holes. I grabbed a Dues 2 because it had Mono, and I love the option. But I have a multi program based off FAST that is simply incredible, I just don't use mono anymore. I have to go back and hunt my old spots, as I'm grabbing another 2 or 3 coins in heavy iron with the D2 off each spot. It is a different cat than a D1 and takes a bit to adapt, but it's worth it.

I started to love the DEUS Mono program as it was the only silent program on a place with an underground cable. The other programs had the potential to drive you crazy on this place. So yes, the difference between to detect or not detect.

Any news on software updates? Sounds like manticore is outperforming the deus ii in some areas. I wish XP could make a version of the software that works be more beneficial for coin hunting in the USA. Copper cents are only a couple numbers off from silver dollar coins. I love my deus 2 but I would consider switching to something that doesn't have the USA coins so close together. When coin hunting I only use 58 to 64 for nickels and 80 up for everything else.

@Paul Bancroft iffy signals KZfaq channel has one. Also tnsharpshooter on KZfaq has one. They've been posting videos. But who knows.. I have 3 deus 2 machines and am looking forward to an update.

The best instructional videos! Loving my Deus 2. Been hunting since 1975 this is the best Detector out there. We just need a new firmware update to help I.D. Better in iron. Thanks From Tennessee!

Hallo One question please. Does the Deus II make sounds all the time long it is on or does it only make sounds when it has found (detected) anything? Because I have seen videos where the device makes small sounds permanently and I dont know why? Thank you!

Have you deserted us Gary? You said at Deus 2 launch that you'd still be doing Deus 1 vids... Remember some of us in the Deus army don't have or ever want a Deus 2!!!! Come on look after the troops....be lucky Bert!

I am already thinking of using my D1 next dig small HF elliptical. ORX with that coil found a cracking gold hammered on the last dig. I suspect the D1 will find the hammered coins pretty well.

Abbiamo avuto la stessa idea ?? Bert ! Io rimango dell idea che su certi targhet se si sa cosa cercare e sopra tutto nel ferro ma ferro duro la MFS la lasci ha casa !! Nel ferro più duro la mono frequenza rimane il massimo ellittica reattivita 4 5 !!!

That in mono mode the deus 2 had better control of rmi an more stable,good luck on you metal detecting hunts.

Thanks Gary. Love the D2 videos. On my D2, I’m not used to using pitch audio. Is it just me or does iron sound a lot like mid conductors? I’m not liking the full tones as much as the D1 one. It just seems like all the audio sounds the same to me except for high conductors. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your thoughts T Bird. Full tones in FMF - try turning the discrimination up to 6.8 and see how you go. Also it's worth trying the pitch audio + Square tone I'm getting some good results at the moment......video soon 👍🤝
