I find the high bridge is a rather dangerous movement because you're completely vulnerable and exposed. But if you do the Volta por cima chutando from high bridge you have an efficient and surprising way of defending your exposed high bridge position. Intersting

This is a very good point and indeed, often this is the purpose of the movement. I've seen many games when a Capoeirista surprised the other person with this movement.

I really like all these moves typical for cordao de ouro... I want to do them but I don't think I can find a place for them in roda in camangula group

I am planning to the an episode on using movements as esquivas and YOU CAN use this movements as esquiva ;) Stay tuned

@@byMinho You are right, I can do many queda moves as esquivas but only in benguela. Even if I can do them fast, they are still moves in the bottom. In regional we generaly want to stay up (small exceptions for slow regional), that is how our mestre Nem wants us to play.
