This has become my new favorite bottle dumps even though I am not a fan of bottles. They breed greed, resentment, selfishness, and love of dirt. Remember, God made dirt, dirt won't hurt.

As a kid in the Pittsburgh, Pa area we called them Monkey Balls. Later in life came hedge apples and then the truth Osage Oranges. If you do find the tree be extremely careful of the thorns on it. They are terrifyingly sharp and can pierce a leather boot.

That’s a Billy Bigmouth Bass without his flexible rubber covering. He’s battery operated and sings “Take Me To The River” while flopping back and forth on a plastic trophy mount board.

Hey EA, those are called Osage Oranges. The deer love to eat them, but are poisonous for us to eat. When they soften up they produce a nice sweet smell. You found some great bottles.

EA, I think you found the bottle jackpot. We can all safely assume that you will be back here again. Digging tools needed. LOL That green 7up bottle was around 1960 style. There's probably a lot of other goodies buried there. Be safe, God Bless.

People call them horse hedge apples. They put them in closets to keep pests away. But it's from the osage orange tree. The wood is used to make the best bows for archery/hunting.

One name for those are HORSE APPLES but they are actually Osage Oranges (NOT EDIBLE). The wood from the Osage trees are what the Native Americans preferred to use to make their bows from.

All hobble skirt cokes sell for 25 bucks to 50 and 100 you dont know your bottles. Well in Illinois bottles are twice that of other states and all common blank bottles go for ten to 20 bucks if just old
