Lake County treats Leesburg like a red headed stepchild. CR 470 was supposed to have been straightened and widened in the mid 2000's. They promised a simple sidewalk on Radio Rd over 20 years ago and still no sidewalk. Clermont had maybe 15,000 people in the mid 1990's, now they have nearly 50,000. The County has built brand new roads from scratch down there while continuing to break promises in North Lake. It's time for Lake County to pay up for the citizens in North Lake, instead of trying to squash the same developments they themselves would be approving if the developers were knocking on their door.

Mr Nappa, you should start attending some LC commission meetings and start demanding they meet their obligations from decades ago.

That's a good idea.

I'll bet this is a problem in many FL communities.

I guess, but the real issue is the lack of attention to infrastructure. All the money is being spent in south Lake County. It will be constant gridlock before long.

@@MarioNappa a good part of the problem is that traffic management throughout Central Florida, for the most part, is amateur at best. When Hurricane Irma happened, the traffic lights would turn green with two red ones immediately in front of them, and everything was at a standstill on 27, and on 441, from Wildwood, to Lake City, where there were deputies directing traffic, and all the congestion miraculously disappeared. Traffic "management" in these parts is a joke. My personal opinion is that they are likely doing it on purpose.

Is Leesburg near Eastport? Live in WI not sure where it is in relation to TV?
@MarioNappa4 ай бұрын
The villages of Dabney, Lake Denham, and Newell are the western boundary of Leesburg.

@@MarioNappa Darn, I was looking at those areas. Maybe the old section for me now.

You are ok inside TV. It would be trafficky if you left the bubble.
