Күн бұрынMade by The Commonwealth Film Unit 1970. Directed by Gil Brealey. A visit to Expo '70 held in Osaka, Japan. Showing the main buildings and events and suggesting the scope and spirit of the fair. It features the Australian Pavillion which included large multi screen projections made by The Commonwealth Film Unit. Among the the other Australian displays were Aboriginal art and a model of the Sydney Opera House which would open three years later in 1973.

Having been to Expo 2020 in Dubai, I can say that the Osaka Expo looked to be about 1000 times better. What happened to Mankind? 😜

Yes! Was Sydney too hasty in getting rid of the Monorail? Imagine Darling Harbour / Barangaroo with a Expo '70 makeover. Retro future cool awesomeness.
